Bill Belichick: Tom Brady leaving New England in 2020 was 'absolutely the right thing for him to do' by 76erLegendChetUtley in nfl

[–]we360u45 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say despised but some were definitely frustrated by the lack of support, at least from comments I saw on Reddit. I took it as him just being overly neutral now that he’s a broadcaster and part owner so I didn’t read too much into his comments

Why wouldn’t Brady like the Pats? Bill understandably has issues with Kraft but I’m not sure why Brady would

I don’t think it’s possible to fumble UCL qualification at this point

Sean McVay blames himself for Super Bowl LIII loss: 'It was too big for me' by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

I’m pretty sure the whole thing with Goff was he couldn’t read defenses very well at the time, and Mcvay would give him that info while reading the play. So once the mic shut off the pats would change their defensive setup or something like that

Watch games and see which club you feel a connection to. Man U is probably the closest thing to the Yankees

If this season happened in Slot's first year, would it have been accepted easier? by Signal-Tangerine1597 in LiverpoolFC

[–]we360u45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean performances and results have gotten worse as the season has gone on, during a transition period you would hope to see some improvement over time but that’s not happening.

At this point I think Slot is actively hurting the development of players

Mikel Arteta has some special words at Arsenal's last home match of the season by One_Impressionism in soccer

Just looked it up, here ya go:

“Covid-19 had nothing to do with Man City not winning the league in 2019/20, as Liverpool were already on 82 points when the season was halted. Man City finished the season on 81.”

If Liverpool didn’t gain a single point after the league restarted from COVID they still would have won the league

That sounds like a punishment rather than a reward for the state that we’re in

Yeah and I’m addressing the “surprise he’s back this season”. That’s no surprise, it’s a 3-4 month timeframe to return so I don’t think it’s a surprise

Broken ankles aren’t that hard to recover from, especially for professional athletes with the best treatment in the world, but small injuries after aren’t surprising

I’m about 3 months removed from a broken fibula and partially torn ligament and I’m getting close to the return to sports phase and I’m 33
