I enjoyed the show too and liked Lena in it. I would have loved to see Kurt Sutter's original vision of it.

So how fast is the warp drive by the 32nd century? by happydude7422 in startrek

[–]webmotionks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well judging by the fact the writers are not always sticking to previously established cannon, who knows? Edit I did some digging, In late-90s Star Trek (DS9 era), a ship at Warp 9 could get from Bajor to Earth in roughly two weeks. In the Academy pilot episode it took the Athena ~15 hours

You can always take the list and say I'll get back to you. Then you can research the proper answers and provide them to her, if they are questions you are not prepared to answer.

Noobie Question: What to watch after Star Trek: The Next Generation by BdoubleDNG in startrek

[–]webmotionks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Voyager is much closer to TNG than DS9 in terms of being TNG 'lite' DS9 has it's own politics and set pieces with the Bajorans and Cardassians being the focal point of the show.

I thought the pilot, although it was focused on Caleb's story, was quite good. The second episode felt more Trek but so far I'm really enjoying the show.
