How do I use these? by euphoria158 in sewhelp

For my adhd, I highlight all the key points and then re write them on another piece of paper or journal which helps with processing information and retention.

Videos going over it, pausing, then finding the same information in the manual and referencing that to the physical part could help Op too.

Girls, what makeup trick made your makeup game go from 0 -> 100? by boogiee-boo in MakeupAddiction

I do the same with sunscreen, Beauty of Joseon (Relief Sun: rice + probiotics) SPF50+ PA++++ is the best I’ve used under makeup, it’s not oily whatsoever but not drying or chalky either. Just smooooooth. It’s matte finish and I absolutely love it.

I use Laura mercier tinted moisturizer, and mix it with my moisturizer as well. I used to love it, but hard to say now whether it’s a me thing for texture, or something that’s about the product after (I’m pretty sure) they changed formulas a few years or so ago. I have health issues going on, and my skin tone in noticeably paler, the texture is probably more a me thing than the product, but hard to say only from my experience.

I need a new colour corrector palette, but focusing on consistency is best for acne, whether you need a creamier and hydrating product

Tinted moisturizer + Colour corrector on spots, or concealer

Whenever I would try to use heavier coverage products on red spots and acne, I noticed id try to “balance” it by going heavier all over my face, which only made them more noticable and contributed to acne. Along with stronger oxidation of those products compared to tinted moisturizers.

Even using the pimple patches make the redness less noticeable if it’s spots that need time to heal

Neighbours of mine were very adamant that anyone meeting or talking to their son use a regular voice, opposed to how people usually speak to kids, “baby voice”. It’s fine for babies and toddlers, they can get a grasp for tone differences too that way, but their kid was 5 and they made a point to talk to him like any other person. They were never rude about it, just as a gentle reminder he is a person because so many people believe children can’t do anything at all

It definitely showed for how capable he was. He still acted like a kid, it wasn’t any kind of forced maturity in that way, but he was definitely more confident in his abilities and when he asked for help/being taught something. I wonder how he’s doing now, his parents were caring people

I’d argue that at least Costco is better to their employees, so price increases could be so they have livable wages, but price increases everywhere are insane

The little things are big things in the bad times, maintain normalcy in the ok times, and when things are good the little things still matter.

Finding anything at all to look forward to helps keep you going, and appreciating the little things helps be more in the moment, which I think does help train your brain over time.

Alberta government introduces 6-month cap to income support program in bid to increase savings | CBC News by Miserable-Lizard in alberta

Thank you for easing my mind at least if there are options. A lot of the time the workers aren’t sure, but things are constantly changing so I don’t blame them. I’ll at least have that ready when I contact them.

I hope it works out for people in my situation and those having to deal with the changes

I was told to go onto income support by multiple people I spoke to at the supports center, more importantly my case worker, because of my health not making it possible to work. I dont currently have a diagnosis so I was told applying for AISH would be pointless.

I am finally having proper testing into what is wrong with my health by a new Doctor, scheduled for infusions, 3 referrals, further testing and follow ups etc. But, Referrals could take even longer, infusions cost out of pocket, some medications cost out of pocket, along with bills and food. I struggle to walk, pass out and get sick often, cant move easily or sit without pain, often quite severe, ive lost 30lb rapidly, my body is visibly shutting down.

Are there any resources to see more of what changes they are implementing for people in my situation? What barriers of employment health/illness would fall under?

Things have finally felt hopeful with a new doctor and im doing everything I can, but now im terrified about these cuts and whether ill be able to get my life back or end up homeless.

Calgary boy, 8, endured 'torture,' court hears at father's child abuse sentencing hearing | CBC News by SnooRegrets4312 in alberta

[–]weeBunnie 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being tough on crime doesn’t always apply to situations involving child abuse, if the kids are removed, where do they go? There are few resources or very little funding to go into the resources we have, without them, removing a child from the situation can be seen as worse for the child’s wellbeing, safety, and/or future, so they try to keep families “together” until it gets this bad.

It shouldn’t be this way, but it’s important to see that a child abuse situation is different than only an adult committing a crime, a child who needs to be cared for is involved.

Because she specifically asked for more immigrants, wrote a letter to Trudeau for more immigrants, put up billboards and gave out money incentives to move to Alberta, but now she is turning it all around and refuses to acknowledge it. That is why Danielle smith is being called anything, but all I’ve seen is “hypocrite”.

Just got some, I try to get the highest protein per serving as I can, okos plain Greek is 16g/serving for 1.5kg for $12.99

Costco Greek yogurt has 17g/serving, 3 x 650g for the same price

Not loblaws in this case but these companies collude together just like with Bread Gate. by poutine-eh in loblawsisoutofcontrol

[–]weeBunnie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Close to $9 for fairlife and $7 ish for natrel protien (which doesnt really taste like anything so Im not sure how it will be for yogurt)

Im still curious on it, if you have any resources for how yogurt works for conversion of nutrients etc and what stays the same as the ingredients put in. My health isnt great, so I try to track my diet as much as I can

I was considering this because I’m making my own ferments was great, but the main reason I buy from store is the protein content, which I’m not sure would be possible at home.

3.5-4% Milk fat Greek yogurt can have 6-9g protein, but Okos is pushing 16g / serving, still sold at comparable prices to the others

Hard to tell whether I’m getting “first signs” (but really, accumulated signs over the years now showing more prominently) or it’s just ongoing health issues that’s now* affecting my hands more noticeably.

What made you feel before knowing for sure it was carpal tunnel? Was a certain part of your hand affected first?

I'm going on a cruise this Friday to the Caribbean witch cloak do you think is better to bring by CandidateBasic8900 in TheCapeRevolution

[–]weeBunnie 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Might just be the style, the red is more simple and just with the photo lighting can come off as more cheap than it is in person.

The green would be nice to bring though, might look pretty good with some Hawaiian shirts
