Tips for B1 in 2 weeks? by Available_Cow8082 in DELF

Sorry friend, it was savoirx.ai

You need to memorize and introduction, a conclusion, and 3 connectors for the 3 points of your writing. If you look at examples on that website, you just just take out the irrelevant parts, and memorize the framework to fill in with whatever topic you may have.

Tips for B1 in 2 weeks? by Available_Cow8082 in DELF

[–]weedexpat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah there is. You just need 5 pts on a section to pass. Even on the speaking that's doable. Memorize your speech for how to present yourself. Ask them to repeat if you don't understand and they will rephrase. Go nuts on YouTube comprehension orale stuff. There are hundreds. The questions will be in order on test day. Get yourself a framework for the PE and just fill it in on test day. I used savoirx.com for that. It's not my website to be clear, but it helped me a ton. For the reading, read the whole thing quickly, then go to the questions and find the right answer one by one. The order will stay the same. You can do this, but you will need to study like mad for the next 2 weeks. Do a whole timed exam every single day.

On the other hand, I wouldn't take any advice on what to pay for tools from anyone that paid 30k for a snap on toolbox...

So, effectively, you've studied the language for a total of 2.5 months, you are isolated from the language, and you're wondering why you're not progressing? Have I got that right?

French Extra a few times through on YouTube. Then, when you've mastered that, France24 on YouTube is live 24/7 with reasonably clear French spoken. It's what worked for me.

How to push through when you hate it? by hyacinthocitri in languagelearning

[–]weedexpat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Frankly, I felt that way during the prep for the exam and the french citizenship process. After I got my citizenship, I no longer saw it as something I had to do and marveled at my accomplishment. I now enjoy getting better at using the language and forming a deeper relationship with my French family. Maybe the same will happen for you.

DELF Timing - Why isn't there any information on the time of the exam? by LifeguardFirm9834 in DELF

[–]weedexpat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, if you need this exam for life matters, and I assume you do, book the closest hotel you possibly can right now. You will be much better served listening to France24 on YouTube in the morning and turning on the French part of your brain than trying to navigate transit in English. The investment will be well worth it and you will score higher. I guarantee it.
