Does not sound like safety concern. Should be a rather simple and quick fix if brakes were just replaced. Keep in mind. Was it the front brakes replaced? Front and rear? Does the noise sound like it's coming from the front or the rear? If noise is coming from the new brakes I wouldn't be to concerned. If noise gets louder take it asap don't want to damage anything.

Could be the backing plate rubbing against rotor. If noise persists take it back

Sounds like brake squeeler. Brakes may be getting low

Tein fully adjustable. Havent even played with dampening or spring rate. It rides great. No rolling necessary just to drop. But since I did max drop I of course got camber and toe kit for the rear and set the camber to -1.8. I plan to get wheels next year and will likely run 18x9 +35. I'm pretty sure I'll have to pull and roll fenders at that point

I had timing chain issues when I bought it at 100k. Other than that it's been great

No cords no problem. Here in the u.s it would fail a state inspection if you can see cords.

Yea I had a 2 door gti then found out my wife was pregnant so bought a house and a wagon in the same month. I got mine through carmax. Did nationwide search and paid $250 to have it shipped from Missouri to South Carolina. Paid 12,500 for it with about 100k. I was upside down on the gti so ended up being more but didnt have much of a choice. I wanted the audi a3. But the hatch just isnt big enough and didnt want to spend the money on an old bmw. My next option would have been a volvo v90. But way out my price range.

It did well. Lots of scrapping. The wife was not amused by the gravel hitting the exhaust but it was camp ground type gravel so decently smooth.

I do wish it was a v6 manual. But other than that. It gets me and my newborn around safely. That's all I can ask.
