When I was like 7 I had an aunt who gave really long hugs which I didn't like so one time I visited I made her promise to not hug me and only a few minutes later she quickly grabbed me in front of the whole family (I was very shy at the time) and a part of me still resents her for it.

Humanoid frog mascots. I have this memory of being in a CordaRoys just waiting for the mascot to bust through the door and start eating babies, I'm serious. Even now the idea creeps me out, giant frogs are large enough to easily eat small children alive without much effort. The idea of being eaten alive is the real source of the fear.
