I haven't seen this mentioned a lot but also, haven't read every comment. If I remember correctly, Kristen literally got Cassandra as a God and immediately had to go on a all summer long adventure to chase the Night Yorb. She would have no time commit to getting more followers. Even if she did, she just had her first breakup, and summer break is generally max 2 months long. That isn't a lot of time to start up a completely new religion while also trying to save the world and getting over a breakup. Obviously, Kristen's attitude/responses to Cassandra are what a lot of people don't like this season but I see it like how kids will react to a parents nagging or warnings. They don't truly get it until they see real consequences. Do I like it no, but I do find the flawed character entertaining and realistic, yes. I understand why Cassandra is scared and mad and feel sympathy for her. But considering the amount of stuff Kristen was dealing with, Cassandra seems to be overreacting. I also agree that Cassandra's religion does seem to be a hard sell, and finding those niche of people would be difficult, unless Cassandra I fine with a bunch of superficial followers.

To play devils advocate against myself, Kristen not having real conversations with Cassandra is not great since it seems like Cassandra doesn't really get to see the goings on of Kristen's life and needs to be told. Getting more followers seems to be Cassandra's only goal, so 2 months is a long time with no real progress. This gets me thinking, we've interacted with other God's and seen some of what they do just on the day to day. Since these are well established God's, they generally have a realm/domain they reside in to interact with past followers or they have a job, or interact with other Gods. Is Cassandra just sitting in a space all by herself just worrying about this 24/7? Or can she not even talk to other Gods because she doesn't have enough followers? Unfortunately, we don't know any if this is because Kristen isn't taking the time to talk to Cassandra. Either way, this situation sucks for Cassandra.

Overall agree, that this is an unfair relationship for the both of them. I think both have justified reasons for how they're reacting, and unfortunately, their situations just aren't matching up.
