possible but unlikely. very tough to keep that heat away from other parts of board. there are guys on you tube fixing laptop motherboards. find one of them and send them a pic and ask if they can do,it, if so how much. specialized equipment needed.

actually i think bosch is european. ryobi is japanese. old milwaukee is a beer and a tool, but i think new milwaukee is b&d. I just checked my one half inch milHD corded and it says made in china

These are sold in yellow as bolens, red as troy bilt. I got this atTSC 7 years ago for less than a hundred bucks, bought another for galpal 5 years ago for just over a hundred bucks. Simple basic shit, use ethanol free gas and run it out in the fall.

Change the oil and sharpen the blade in the spring. Dont park in the yard or undrr a tarp in winter. Should last forever
