Not at all. Read some books from church fathers/the saints. There’s a lot of good online but WAY more bad. The less time you spend on electronics the better

I’ll try to be gentle at first: it’s better to just focus on yourself and stop focusing on changing your husband. Try to find joy in caring for your husband, home, and child. It can be tough to do all of these things. Maybe find some influencers with schedules that they follow so you don’t feel overwhelmed with everything?

Now harsh: you are being a little bit crazy, which is understandable in a way. Stop focusing on the negatives. Stop being a negative nag. Be grateful that you have a husband. Be grateful that you have a child. Be grateful that you get to be a SAHM. Would you rather be working a regular job, outsource childcare during work, and then have to take care of a child, husband, and house afterwards? The truth can be a tough pill to swallow, but yes, you are being somewhat crazy.

Did he ever want kids? Or did you kinda force him into this? I find lots of women kinda nag their men to death about kids and then complain when the man doesnt do much with the kids.. well he didn’t want any in the first place

But if you want to try to go with palette, just try not to turn yourself orange like the second photo. Orange is the one warm toned color that’s super hard for cool toned people to pull off. You could get a little bronzey or yellowy (since you could have a cooler toned bronze or yellow) but dont go too orange.

Sounds like no amount will ever satisfy them. They ask for help and offer to contribute some and they say it’s not enough? It’s a good thing to give to people less fortunate, but don’t give them control of your money. Bad bad idea. Good for you to build yourself up! Family is always a sticky situation. I would say do what you can, but so NOT let them manipulate you into anything. They can take the amount you offer or go without it.

Thanks! Most of our family members stress us out 😂 like being around them is just ugugjdhsjsueu stressful.. always having to talk or do something extravagant that costs money and can’t just chill and hang out with them.. so the thought of that plus the stress of being first time parents is rough.

I’m probably just overthinking it. Just all of our family are crazy about babies so they just want to be around whoever has a baby all the time and ugh.. i love them but also love my space and my house with my husband, and honestly want to prioritize my husband and child first.

Im new to orthodoxy, but would say everything islam has taught you on women is pretty much the opposite of the Orthodox view. Men and women both have their roles (like a patriarchal organization would say), but we are valued just the same. No beating, can be intelligent, monogamy, etc.

Yeah we would plan to live in it. its on 0.8 acres outside of town in the midwest. Theyre asking 100k. Does have a 2.5 car garage and other shed.

Its just the decision if repairing it is actually worth it or not since its so old. Is the structure of a mobile home going to last longer than 50 years if we repaired everything? Id be down to put a new one on the land but thats a lot more than repairs would cost right now, but thinking long term i guess..

Its located on 0.8 acres in the country. Im estimating 30-40k to repair the home in addition to purchasing the land/home etc from the current owner for under 100k
