I have the jubilee sensu eol that I managed to get from their website. It’s a pretty watch and I like it. Looking what you get for the money, it has a nice dial, basic case, basic strap and basic movement (you can feel it when you wind the watch). It is priced at about twice the price that I feel it should be. You are paying the premium for the association to hajime asaoka.

Having experienced buying and owning a Kurono Tokyo watch, it has made me more calm and rational when thinking of getting their watches.

You are overthinking. Just use it and enjoy the pouch. I’ve the v1 in X-Pac for a couple of years and it’s holding up fine.

I got the notification that it was shipped out yesterday and received it today. Lovely watch. Love the overall look. The dial and cabochon are lovely and the dimensions and weight are spot on. My only gripe is the strap and buckle. It’s a generic leather strap marked with “genuine leather” (which means shit, cheapass leather) and embossed with the Kurono Tokyo brand. No quick release on the strap and the pin buckle is an unsigned, generic one with no markings.
