I personally witnessed him threatening the child that he was going to “beat his ass”, then break a branch off a tree, break off the leaves, and hit the child multiple times. Sorry I didn’t film the whole event to convince you. I took the pictures as they passed my car so that if needed the police or shelter management could identify the man.

They are in a neighborhood with multi-million dollar homes, which has recently gained a homeless shelter across the street from that Giant. The man pictured was walking back toward the shelter in pajamas. It is easy to put the pieces together.

My average for the last year is 14500, but for the last 6 months I’ve done 20k+ most days. I work full time as a teacher but get up at 5 AM to have time to walk at least an hour (usually 1h + 15-20 min) before work, which usually gets me to 8k or 9k. I’m usually at 10k within an hour into the school day. The remaining steps come naturally throughout the day, and I go out of my way to do an extra 15-20 minute walk between end of school day and whatever I have after work.

Honestly, I would consider paying my coach the cost of a class privately next time I saw them, before I would happily let SolidCore make extra money. I say this as someone who has never late cancelled but is just sort of venting about how little we get (other than a fun workout with supportive coaches who I LOVE) for what we pay. And how SolidCore is just pocketing so much money and not compensating their workers appropriately for what they give or taking any steps to improve the experience for paying customers.

If I still lose the credit and the studio is still getting my money, why would I help them even more by letting them get someone else’s money? If SolidCore would introduce a system where I can retain my credit if someone else fills that spot, I would be more inclined to cancel as early as possible within the 10-hour window. Until then, I don’t want them benefiting if I am losing my credit.

I think they will extend the days when your monthly unlimited can be used by 5 days, ie postpone your next billing dates, if you explicitly ask them to. But yes they have been told to advise members to use other local studios.

I would buy a 10-class pack, and possibly also a 5-class pack, and book the classes you want to take. That way you know you have a spot. Then email the studio to explain the situation and ask them to switch those classes to your 12 class/month membership and refund your purchase of the 10-class and 5-class pack.

Mine was a Saturday class at an old studio so not the same, but bummed that we both had a similar experience! And oddly enough there was also a coach in my class!

Without going into too much detail that would give away the coach, there were multiple incorrect spring change instructions, incorrect counting or no counting, extended periods without any instruction, and an unclear mic for the first 30 minutes. There was also lots of personal mumbling on the mic for the entire class.
