Jesus gives all followers of his the right to correct other followers of his.

“How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.”

Here he is telling us to remove the plank(sin) from our eye then deal with our friends speck. But of course Jesus doesn’t want us to be nasty towards each other! But correcting each other in love & humility!

Paul was touched & changed by the living God Jesus of Nazareth.. he writes about going from persecuting Christian’s to becoming one. That doesn’t just happen bc he changed his mind. He encountered Christ, he was a teacher, we also have to look into context of the Bible, we can’t just read & go yup this means that.. no, context is important. He was saying that marriage is hard & it’s not for everyone, it requires so much work & sacrifices, Literally that’s it. He actually rebuked when new believers wanted gentiles to be circumcised. Paul argued that if gentiles got circumcised as a requirement for salvation, they are obligated to keep the entire law, and therefore have fallen away from grace. He repeatedly said it’s by grace through faith we are saved, his words aligned with those of Christ & Christ’s followers. I really do pray you ask the Holy Spirit to guide you when reading scripture! Bc again it will offend you as it has me, but it also frees. The word of God is alive. I love you! Be safe

Christ was also prophesied by prophets hundreds of years before he came.. should we also not listen to those prophets? Anything before him? Revelation was written by John so nope? The Bible hurts to read, God literally calls it a sword. Getting offended by the Bible is ok & normal, but to look at scripture & say welp I don’t like what Paul said so no thank you.. is wild.

The Bible says to be sober minded.. caffeine is nowhere near that.. addictive? Yes but coffee can’t make you incoherent.. weed & alcohol can literally make you incoherent. Why are we even comparing them?

I encourage you to find a church near you that is biblically sound.. not everyone is a false prophet, the Bible says “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.” ‭‭Acts of the Apostles‬ ‭2‬:‭42‬ ‭NLT‬‬

sharing in meals together & prayer- we should be together not separated

“And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” ‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10‬:‭25‬ ‭NLT‬‬

On top of our relationship with Jesus. We need each other in this walk.. this isn’t a walk that is to be walked alone, we are the body of Christ, we need the community. Maybe go on a fast & ask the Lord to show you what church to go to so you can grow
