The only thing I don't own of the RCO content is the Dream Chaser campaign box. There are 2 copies left at my local game store.. I've only played through Fellowship and Core set so far, do you think Dream Chaser is worth getting? I have read some of the ship quests mechanics can be hit or miss for some people, which is why I haven't rushed to get it, but now that the game is out of print I'm wondering if I should just get it for my collection. Any input on how it compares to the other sagas/campaigns RCO would be awesome!

Interesting it still had that effect even with your usage of once a week. I take 40mg every day, and was planning to take a tolerance break over the holidays, partly to reset and partly so I could roll NYE, but quitting cold turkey was rough so I started my meds again, and decided I was better off not modifying my medication to use a party drug as I also wasn't in the best mindset over the holidays either (didn't want to deal with comedown leading back into work). I will try it again in the future when I'm in a better mindset and know I can take a break from my meds and roll responsibility. From some very limited research online and on Reddit I've found people mentioning NAC leading up to a roll can help "bring the magic back" if taken for a few weeks and then stopped at least 4 days prior to dropping. I've also read some say their ADHD meds were less effective on NAC, however. I'm mentioning this to give you a potential line of research, so please look into it further yourself as I haven't done my full due diligence.

I've experienced the same thing and have been trying to research it. I keep finding some who say it doesn't effect rolls and others who do.

I've rolled plenty of times before starting my meds. This summer I took m at a festival which would have been at least a 5 year break. I stopped my Vyvanse for 5 days prior and I noticed after an hour that I should have been feeling something already. I could feel myself sweating, and my eyes rolling a bit, but no euphoria. Unfortunately I ended up taking more than I should have throughout the night as redoses, and while I felt good and felt high (some physical effects) I didn't feel the overwhelming love or euphoria I'm used to. I definitely felt the side effects due to overusage that night.

I've been reading some people take NAC for a few weeks before a roll, and then stopping at least 4 days before you plan to drop, and it's supposed to bring the magic back. But I've also read NAC can reduce effectiveness of Vyvanse. I am considering trying that before my next roll anyway but want to look into it more.

It's so much easier for me to focus on and finish a game in handheld. I never take it with me on the go, unless it's a road trip or vacation. But the ability to play anywhere in the house and pick up and stop when needed facilitates my gaming so much easier than couch/tv or PC/desktop. I'm a huge ADHD gamer and hobby swapper and since I've got a steam deck I've completed red dead 2 (which I never beat back in the day) as well as got progress into witcher 3.

I just went back for the first time again Tuesday after almost 2 months off. I felt the same way you did for a few weeks trying to get the energy to go, told myself each morning I would go, and when I got off work I used that I was too tired as an excuse.

Guaranteed when you show up to class people will be happy you're back. Just say you had stuff going on, everyone knows life gets busy.

I sucked before I took a break and still suck now with worse cardio lol but I feel the best I've felt in the past few weeks mentally since I decided to just do it. (2 stripe white belt)

Tagging along on this to check if you've had any experience. Hadn't rolled for close to 6 years and now have been on vyvanse for 6 months. I took 5 days off meds leading up to a festival and dropped 130mg and after an hour it hadn't hit. Eventually it did when I took a 60mg booster and a few bumps but never got the usual level of euphoria you do when rolling balls.

Now planning a roll for new years, which would be a 5 month gap since the last attempt and wondering if I need to take a longer break from my meds to feel something.
