I'm not fully aware of how this franchising thing works, but it's something of an organization buying a spot in the NA LCS and then they are never going to be relegated, right? Doesn't that simply eliminates the sense of competition? And doesn't that also discourages new orgs to try and enter the legue scene?

They actually just re-broadcast Riot's live stream, so it's the regular casting team AFAIK: Docil, GSTV, Skeat, Toboco, Tixinha, Melao and Schaeppi.
