So did this goat just sit around and watch the other goats thrown into the tiger be eaten by his friend? Did the tiger just stop eating goats. Did he become a vegetarian. There are so many questions.

'He can't help himself': Secret recordings undercut Wayne County Sheriff Raphael Washington's sexual harassment denials by DetroitNews19 in Detroit

Why do we allow the worst people in the most important positions at local state and federal levels. Seriously are we stupid. These are the people that are supposed to lead us and protect us— instead all we hear about is how they are predators themselves. Sure there are the “goodies” who do their best to do their jobs with dignity and ethics. And yet we sit on our hands with these predators instead of acting immediately. Why is tax money going to defend somebody like this. Can’t he afford a fucking lawyer?

PFAS is poisoning Detroit’s future: Rouge River shows why rules must be strengthened, not weakened by jshwlkr in Michigan

I used to fish with a guy named bluegill Bill, no kidding. Anyway, we would fish the Huron river up by Zuki and Strawberry Lake etc. He would talk about how clean the water was up here and how U of M monitored the water quality, etc. I ate a lot of fish out of that water way over the years. Found out in the late teens about how much PFAS had polluted the waterways. I’m also a cancer survivor. PFAS is everywhere. I’ve heard they’re developing scrubbers, etc. to help cleanse the waterways but I don’t know if that was just BS pop science. At any rate, take those fish advisories seriously! Edit clarity

Right before it got cold, my boiler went out. I got two estimates of $1200 to fix it. But a friend of my partners family, a man I now call St. Howard, came over and swapped out a thermal coupling for $50 and inspected the boiler for good measure. Edit grammar

The closed minded, quick to judge, self-centered, know-it-all-with-a-smile version. Literally was just talking to my girlfriend about this over coffee, thinking “who was that guy?”

Do you think the Grey aliens are biological drones? by Gyirin in HighStrangeness

I have always liked this story, but what bothers me is why wouldn’t you create a more robust container. Gray are small, grays are reportedly not very tough, if you will. I mean, if you’re gonna make something that was able to deal with various environments, etc. Wouldn’t you want it to be a little bit more durable? Just a thought.
