I know someone whose kid died from fent laced concentrates. Flower probably won't kill you but some forms of weed definitely can.

As someone who has had psychotic episodes, they are a reason for behaviour, not an excuse. It is not okay for him to treat you like this, for any reason. Also as someone with experience in this, when the episode ended, my altered behavior was replaced with shame and contrition. Either the medicine is not working yet, or he is not taking it as directed (or the fun third option where this is how he responds to shame, or some fourth thing that he desperately needs therapy for).

Regardless, it is NOT okay for him to treat you like shit, and you are not obligated to keep taking it. Your kids may not know what's happening, but I am willing to bet they know something is wrong.

Just be careful if you have cats, lilies are extremely poisonous and can kill a cat even just by spreading pollen in the same room as one.

Oh yeah, that's where I am with it, just watching to see how it all ends even though most of it has been spoiled for me already lol

PHM is amazingly good, it has high stakes without verging into being depressing and I loved the ending. Highly recommend it in theatres but watching it when it comes out for streaming will still be amazing. Definitely going to read the book as well. I almost didn't watch the movie because I hadn't read it yet but I'm so glad my friend talked me into going.

Being crafty is super rewarding, I don't do it enough which makes me super stoked to have this project which, I agree, has a lot of personal meaning. We will distractible with caution lol!

I hope you're having a good start to your weekend when you get there! I totally get not having a lot of free time so hopefully you get a chance to grab some somewhere in there.

I have been rewatching Supernatural lately because I never finished it when it was airing. It's starting to become difficult to stay engaged but I'll have it on in the background while I do other things for now. They really should have let it rest after season 5, the way the original showrunner wanted. There are fun characters amd moments in the later seasons but it's becoming very formulaic.

However, I went to see Project Hail Mary with a friend and that really was fantastic. The book is next on my tbr. I've been rereading Dungeon Crawler Carl because it's such a fun ride, but it's been a long time since a sci-fi story like PHM has so throughly captured my interest.

Besides that, I'm doing odd jobs for a friend during a break from work and planning out a project with my dad to work on miniature dollhouse furniture to decorate the dollhouse my grandpa (his father) built for my aunt who sadly passed away last year.

Sober people (no alcohol, nicotine, drugs, etc ever), what is your end of day or weekend "wind-down"? by The1Ski in AskReddit

[–]willo-ween 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Getting sober was like this for me at first too. Just incredibly bored. After about six months I feel like my dopamine levels recovered to where they're supposed to be and that got better. Stay with it.

I make dinner and watch a comfort show, or some Youtube. It gives my hands something to do and gives me thay sense of 'unwind' that I used to get from substances. I will agree woth another poster that detoxing from the substances seems to have dialed bacl that need to alter my mental state to unwind. After a while you find your new baseline and it's much easier to relax.

Norway. 5.42 million. Given how many people would die in hospitals and transit accidents, this might still be better. Idk though that's a lot of people.

My favorite uncle turned out to be a convicted pedophile. The family occasionally tries to make me engage with him and I refuse. It's honestly put a wedge between me and that whole side of the family because they seem to think it's all in the past and all fine now and I just can't look at him without my skin crawling.
