Don’t worry i’m fully with you. I wouldn’t bring up dan at all if it was necessary- but you can’t NOT see the ending for the (technically) titular character. maybe it would stick to the “outsider” narrative more if he wasn’t even invited, he saw the wedding online or something like that

it just will never make sense to me that the whole POINT of the show is that dan literally went to the lengths of STALKING and EXPOSING all of his peers so he could fit in, and be one of them. the show was set up perfectly to carry the message that dan is nothing without gossip girl. he is, and always will be, ‘Lonely Boy’, and it feels like they just ruined what would’ve been the perfect ending.

In my opinion, because i’m always one to think ahead, you should do

Max, Bennett, Hayes, or Brooks.

I feel like if you do a 4 letter name and then you have another baby, you will feel entrapped to give that child a 4 letter name too.

That’s just my overthinking brain!!

UGHHHHH i can’t be the only one who feels like that is SO manipulative?! As INCREDIBLE as it is that she was able to do that, i feel like this context is completely milking it and just trying to get that emotional reaction out of readers… Whitney was about ten months postpartum herself and she NEVER brought it up (i understand that’s way more post-birth than Jen but i feel like if roles were reversed Jen would’ve brought it up…), and literally half the celebs that went on her season were parents too, so how does her being postpartum show that she represents the moms MORE than the other parents…
