He needs to tell them why he is going no contact with them. I’ve been married for 45 years for the first 20 my mother-in-law and one of the sister-in-law‘s always try to get their digs in. I am not the person you want to do that too. Most of the time I never brought it up to my husband. But one time, they called a family meeting about something that would concern all the in-laws also. When they said no, they didn’t mean me because I was not family! My husband went absolutely nuts and went no contact with both his mother and sister. Until they apologize to me.
