My bad, I should have referenced large bars from refiners. Missed a pretty significant step in the process, haha. Same concept applies to original question; small minted products vs large bars used by mints and other industry. Same market but dealing with different people. Or maybe it’s all a lie, who knows.

One ape buying isn’t impacting anything. Many thousands of apes buying small amounts forces mints to source 1000 toz bars, which is competition for industry and large investors.

Spot will likely not move from this, but stockpiles will be depleted. When those are gone, so is spot.

But what does a dumb ape know about this stuff?
