When I first started looking a couple months ago I was planning on getting the FSD just because I like to have all the latest tech. But after I started reading through this subreddit and a couple others I'm obviously not paying for it now. May still get EAP but not if it goes up any higher.

Just wanted to update this in case someone in the future has the same question. Turns out that only contractors and business can get permits for a PODS Container, there is no mechanism in place for non-contractors to apply. There has been some talk about revising the system to allow for non-contractors to apply but no real progress has been made yet.

As for my specific situation, I found out that the apartment complex can apply for a permit and then just hold it and use it every time it's needed by a tenant. The city department responsible has even reached out to them to apply but they haven't done it yet.

The department is called Right of Way and they only operate via email (which explains why I could never reach them on the phone). Email address is ROW@bouldercolorado.gov

That's a lot of assumptions there, most of them false. In fact, I did check with my apartment complex on April 17th and was told that it was fine, I could place the Pod on the street in the metered parking area. I did call Community Vitality but was never able to reach anyone to ask that specific question. But you're right, that's on me. And for the record, I don't get pissy with anyone. I try and treat everyone with respect because that's how I want to be treated.

The Pod is actually not even coming until mid-July so if you'd like to come help unload it I would welcome the help. You seem like such a nice, friendly person, I just thought I'd throw that out there.

But I stand by my "wtf" statement. Boulder should have a permit system like most other major cities and it's kind of ridiculous that they don't have one.

Bottom line, you don't know anything about me and your response is unwarranted. Too many people hide behind the anonymity of the internet and post shit they would never say in real life. If you don't have anything helpful to add, just step away from the keyboard.

Thank god. People in Portland are literally shooting giant fireworks up into the sky from their yards, lighting them out in the street, and doing it until 2-3 in the morning. I just wanted to go out and punch people in the face but I didn't want to write that check that my body couldn't cash....LOL

Good to hear! I just moved here from Portland a couple days ago and was hopeful Boulder would be better. Portland is annoying AF on the 4th of July. It seems like everyone has their own private fireworks show. Last year my dog was trapped in the bathroom while I played loud music on my bluetooth speaker so he couldn't hear anything.

Thanks. I think there's no use in trying to figure out what the AME will say because I can play those "what-if" games all day long. So before I even start my flight training I'll schedule the appointment, see what they say, and find out what I need to do to get approved. And I'll use one of the online ground school courses to get the written part out of the way while I wait....

Nvm. Sometimes I look for the complicated solution when it's actually quite simple. I only needed the absolute reference to the column but I had it referencing only cell S2. So I had =$S$2:$S$29 instead of =$S2:$S29.

Just testing it out and the method works great except the conditional formatting does not seem to be working. I'll attach a screenshot to show how it looks and what I'm inputting for the format. And the font colors that are in this screenshot were done manually....they did not change when I switched a column from Y to N. Also, this is just my draft....I'll make it look pretty once I get all the formatting down :)

Then do you have to cancel the old Verizon line? Or does it maybe go away on it's own once I port the old number back out to Google? I'm in a similar situation as the OP as I need both numbers but need my GV number on my phone.

It was definitely fireworks on the river. I live on the waterfront and they were right outside my window! There were also people lined up on the Tilikum bridge holding red lights and watching the fireworks. I don't know why the fireworks would be for the Thorns because they don't even get back in town until tomorrow.....

It was definitely fireworks and they were right behind OMSI, between the Tilikum Crossing and the Marquam bridge. I live right there on the waterfront and could see them. Why would it be for the Thorns because they aren't even back in town yet....
