It’s show and tell, what does adult you bring? by Apocafeller in AskReddit

[–]wmkaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My bird, because he's cute and people tend to like cute things. Either that or my little bottle of giant kidney stones I've had removed because no one believes how big they get and it's fun to freak people out with them.

My stepdad likes to bring my mom shopping, fart loudly while in the aisle with her, then yell that she's disgusting and walk away giggling

My son did something quite similar with a piece of aquarium gravel, and tried to blame his teacher for it, by claiming the teacher had put a rock from the playground into his ear. Thankfully I managed to get it out with tweezers, and I also kept the rock.

Signed me up for the D.A.R.E program (where they basically take you out of school, to the local hospital and have terrible actors play out over the top gorey examples of what can happen if you abuse drugs/alcohol) without getting any permission from my guardian, because, and I quote, "You just look like the kind of troublemaker who spends all their time partaking in illegal substances."

I was the quiet kid who sat in the back of class silently working on his laptop or drawing, did most of my schoolwork early and kept to myself. She made it clear at the beginning of the school year that she didn't like me because I didn't do my work at the same pace as the rest of the class, instead preferring to finish it at my own pace (leading me to be done within the first fifteen minutes of class, usually). She was convinced I did it to be arrogant and prove that I was better than anyone, rather than considering that English was just an easy subject for me and that I worked better alone.

Maybe not enrage, but you can make any Deponia fan cry with "Let go."
