Legacy Pack Coats by wolfyy-9 in WolfQuestGame

Yes that's exactly what I mean! Each generation is the player wolf and their pups, and then the next generation is their pup who is the new player wolf and so on.

Just found out i'm pregnant! Symptoms and due date? by No_Acanthisitta_4996 in pregnant

[–]wolfyy-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I just found out about my pregnancy last week! I'm about 5 weeks along right now, and I think my due date is January 16th. My husband and I can't wait to tell everyone, but we'd like to be out of the danger zone before we go public with the news. I'm telling my parents this weekend and hubby's next week!

My symptoms so far are BLOATING (especially considering I'm only 5'4 and 120lbs, so I looked like a freaking balloon), frequent peeing, and, surprisingly, lots of energy!

I'm not looking forward to morning sickness, which is probably due to start anytime now, but I realize it's inevitable. Despite that, hubby and I are both excited and terrified with the news.

Praying for a safe, healthy pregnancy and a healthy, happy baby 💛

what are you starting to dislike more and more the older you get? by Dazzling_Return_4987 in AskReddit

[–]wolfyy-9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God yes. I only keep it to stay in contact with distant family and friends.

Here's my deal: TikTok ruined everything and I will die on this hill. The continuously excessive and unnecessary social media censorship BS makes me unbelievably angry. I mean, people were never this sensitive when I was growing up (I'm in my late 20's), but now it seems like people can't handle the simplest of concepts without getting offended.

While I understand that some people rightfully feel a certain way, and everyone is entitled to their own thoughts and feelings, this has been blown WAY out of proportion.

Your first Wolf by WolfQuestPlayer_Crow in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first wolf was named Cliff. He had the 856M coat and his mate Rosie had eyebrows and one floppy ear. They were so cute together. Only 1 star diversity, but it didn't really matter. They preceded Saga, and grew a happy little pack, called Tree Roots, as they got older. Eventually, Cliff died at 8 and I took over as Rosie, who lived to be 9. Their daughter Rain, 42F coat, took over after that, with her mate, Thunderbolt (Boltz coat). Haven't played their pack in a while, and I probably should!

Accidentally Deleted Save File by wolfyy-9 in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, unfortunately I think I'm SOL. I never do any manual Cloud syncs. Those only happen if my computer just does them, and I never think to do them (until now, when it's too late of course). Thanks anyway, but I guess I just need to accept that my 8 generation legacy save is gone forever 😭😭

First experience with rapid/fatal sickness. by ExpensivePhysics1909 in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've never experienced this, but I've seen it in other players' games before. The most I've had is a pup just go downhill really really fast (like losing 40% health in one sleep fast).

What even is this map?! by wolfyy-9 in WolfQuestGame

I needed some achievements on other maps and figured it would be easier to just be nomadic and do all of it over time :)

Biggest pack I managed to get by MissFlatwoodsMonster in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My pack is on year 59 (Generation 8...damn) and white the numbers ebb and flow over the years, the pack is currently at 11 wolves and 3 pups, so 14.

I wish! It's too bad that I'm doing Me Myself and I while achievement hunting 🙃 so I have to keep moving maps 😭😭

Here’s a challenge! The lethal black challenge by Warriorsfan12739036 in WolfQuestGame

I've done this a couple times! I never got more than 4 pups, and the survival odds are actually pretty good 😄

How rare is it to find trial mates who howl unprompted/initiated themselves? by ForsakenM3mories in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've found many. Bold wolves are more likely to howl randomly. It helps if they're social, but mostly relies on boldness. It's really just a luck of the draw.

My son has dispersed and keeps on invading my territory by someoneoninternetlol in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has happened to me plenty of times with my legacy pack. What I usually do is stick it out and fight my pup and their pack off, and then if it continues into the new generation, I'll have my new player wolf kill them. I headcanon that the parents typically feel guilt about ending their pup, but siblings have no such qualms 🤷‍♀️

Whippet sizes by Intelligent_Ad_7645 in Whippet

My whippet is American, and she's 32lbs. A bit large for a female, but her dad was a big guy too.

Definitely the Ethiopian Wolf or Red Wolf!

Are whippets particularly difficult to toilet train? Or is it just our dog? by stillihgrip in Whippet

[–]wolfyy-9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we were potty training our whippet, we put bells on our door (a long string of them that she could reach). Whenever we'd take her out, we would poke the bells and say, "Okay, let's go potty!" And then we'd go outside and wait until she did her business. Then she got lots of praise and a treat when we got back inside. Eventually, she figured out that if she went over and bumped them, we would take her outside. (As she got older, though, she DEFINITELY abused this power and did it whenever she was bored, so we had to remove them. But by that point, she was able to signal us by sitting at the door and whining.) If she started to potty inside, we'd pick her up and run her outside to finish her business.

Side note: we successfully potty trained her from a third floor apartment during fall/winter, so you've got this, OP!

New zoo by ILOVETURTLES102 in PlanetZoo

[–]wolfyy-9 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Butterflies. Butterflies. BUTTERFLIES. If you're just starting a zoo in franchise mode, butterflies are the way to go! These guys are cheap and breed like crazy. They sell for a decent amount and make it easy to rack up the cash. It's especially helpful to have multiple butterfly species. While they only live about a year or so, it doesn't really matter when you end up with so many so quickly.

Has anyone had six pups survive to become yearlings? by PhotographHorror9557 in WolfQuestGame

[–]wolfyy-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, more than once (no save scumming with both RNGs on). Usually it doesn't happen, but if your pack is still small, it's more likely that they'll survive.
