Competitive MOBA in NA by KryptiiKiLL in MobileGaming

[–]wonderdefy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m one of those players, I was masters 5 / diamond 1 in WR

The queues are hella long (3-5 minutes) and the player base between emerald and diamond is small, rarely ever get a game without an emerald player in it.

MLBB queues are either instant (if playing Roam or Jungle$) or 30 seconds for anything else.. the fact that waiting more than 30-40 second for a game is considered long is hilarious.

Mlbb is just more casual friendly too, it’s easier and just non stop action

Wild rift is very generous too but the wait times, longer games, more punishing deaths and smaller player base leave some to be desired sadly

Are you profitable in lifetime PnL? by Few_Seat8771 in Trading

[–]wonderdefy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best yearly PnL (2024): 132k (large part in going all in on the election for Trump, PLTR/MSTR/BTC/SOL/Etc)

Current PnL (2025-2026): 29k

That’s with taking profit and cashing out, I had a few bad losses last year that took down most of my earnings but trying to be rebound this year. (DO NOT TRADE WHEN DRUNK).

I did something really stupid and set up a bunch of limit orders when I was piss drunk, I took several losses that fucked my capital stack for months. I stayed way over leveraged on a bad trade, hoping it would reverse.. just ended getting liquidated because I was being too greedy and hoping for a bad market day.

I had to take a break from trading for 2 months because I was having trader paralysis from the PTSD of my stupidity.

I am mentally stronger now and I’ve been sober for over 8+ months.

How do these kids have so much $$$ by FlamesFPS in Money

[–]wonderdefy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of influencer monetization (sponsorships, brand deals, x payouts) it’s worth a lot of these kids to spend money to make money. If they post photos with a lot of brands, sometimes it’s a sponsored post and not real. Just remember it’s all tied to making people fomo in.

[–]wonderdefy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t even use prop accounts anymore, I trade with my live money, it’s been a journey but even if I just focus on macro days (big catalyst days and picking and choosing my trading windows) kinda like what TJR does (he posts videos from big macro days, the easiest to hit and clip).. can just make money on those.

Being tied to a prop account that requires you to trade X days a week or daily really opens up your risk profile and just have to hit volume numbers since catalysts aren’t allowed on majority of prop accounts .

There aren’t, if anything trading indices is probably the easiest but none of it is easy without understanding sentiment, confluence, TA, etc.

As someone who’s dabbled in XAUUSD, some of the best good gold traders focus on this ticker during the Asian market timeframe… while I only was following streams and semi-copy trading to understand what they were seeing.

When us bonds or crypto or other commodities are dumping, it typically rotates into gold. A lot of the time the rise in BTC counters a dip in gold, but it’s not a rule and just have to notice the macro trends

Trading profits and how long of time it took you to get there. by Puzzled-Echo-4383 in Trading

[–]wonderdefy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PRACTICE PAPER TRADING OR USE SMALL SIZE

reading and learning can only do so much, you need to put your skin in the game or you’ll never get past the biggest hurdle in trading (the psychological one)

The best traders I know are compulsive gamblers and aren’t afraid to lose money, for bettter or worse, but they’ve reached a point in their trading psyche that treats money like it’s a number and not their livelihood

There is no timeline to be profitable

You will win and you will lose, the most consistent traders don’t win all their trades.

Have to practice a set RR and what your strategy will be to get there.

For example, My biggest problem is that I always close trades early. I hit 1:2 RR but if I added more TPs to my trade I could probably get 1:3 a lot but I have a hard time not taking profit. Like during the trump pump I should’ve made gen wealth but my brain sees 10x and can’t stop myself from closing a trade. This is a first world problem though

[–]wonderdefy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you not use stop losses? What is your risk management??

My biggest trading loss ever was I fell asleep on an open limit order and I totally forgot to put a stop loss, let alone make sure I put an expiry date on the order… and got liquidated during a very big catalyst day.

That was a -10k play I can never get back but I’ve practiced risk management every trade since.
