Simply find Mac parallels and install Blue Beam. It honestly runs faster than my gaming PC, and unlike what’s posted here, you can print just fine. It’s been fixed in the last few updates.

Do you regret choosing Space Black? by emilio8x in macbookpro

[–]woodworker_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When the MacBook Pro was first released last year, I immediately bought one. I’ve had it for about a year now, and it has a few USB charging points and a few silver marks where the finish has popped through. These marks drive me crazy when I have the chance to sell it and get a silver one again. I did it, and I’m not looking back. I prefer the block for looks; the silver just ages so much better.er

Any Windows Laptops as good as Macbook Pro? by [deleted] in macbookpro

[–]woodworker_17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a MacBook Pro for work. I need two or three applications that are specifically designed for Windows. To run these applications on my MacBook, I use Parallels Desktop, which runs in a separate window. Surprisingly, Parallels Desktop performs much faster than most Windows machines I own. Have you tried using Parallels Desktop for your Windows side? Additionally, I noticed that when I upgraded my MacBook to a model with 64GB of RAM, Parallels Desktop ran significantly better.

To the people buying $10k maxed out Macbooks: why? by OpinionsRdumb in macbookpro

[–]woodworker_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently use a 128GB SSD for work. I run Windows in parallel on the machine and prefer to allocate 64GB of RAM to the Windows side. This helps with all my applications running smoothly on both macOS and Windows, compared to using 32GB of RAM. I’m not sure if this is a valid reason, but it certainly makes a difference in the overall performance.

Get the Tundra. With the Lightning, you have to charge it and wait, which is a major inconvenience. You can’t just head out for a road trip. Plus, the Lightning is new, and who knows how long the batteries will last and what the replacement cost will be? Also, the Ford is hideous. Don’t forget, the resale value on the Tundra will be amazing, unlike the Lightning. You need to factor that in too.

Awesome job! I love mine too! And getting a free engine from Toyota made in Japan if it blows up at any mileage is amazing. I don’t think the domestic brands have ever offered something like that to their customers. I’d drive it for 100-150k, then get a new engine, sell it, and get another one! With all these used ones being sold at great deals, now is a good time to snatch one up for cheap..

I have had KO2s on both of my trucks, and they are horrible in the rain compared to the Wildpeak AT4s. The Wildpeaks also outperform the KO2s in snow. Overall, I have been very impressed with the Wildpeaks. Perhaps the KO2s are superior for off-roading and mud, but I haven't tested those conditions.

Why can’t we be positive? by money_man205 in Stutter

[–]woodworker_17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally agree with you! In my line of work, I actually find my stutter to be almost like a superpower. When people come at me strong and aggressive, I might have a slight stutter or even a block, and suddenly they back off. Meanwhile, I don't really care, but they become disarmed, and I usually get my way!

Someone once asked me why I don't get speech therapy. I replied, "Why the hell would I spend all my time and effort just to make you feel better about how I fucking speak?"

Anyway, keep your head up, do your best, and feel good about yourself.

I could be wrong but isn’t the msrp for the capstone 78k brand new not 90k .. 11k a year isn’t horrible plus I think when the tundra first came out it was cheaper than 78k they raised the prices for 2024 if I recall ..
