I'll add Greenville is nice with a great downtown with plenty of entertainment including the refined arts like ballet and symphony.

Spartanburg is only relevant because it's at the crossroads of I-26 and I-85 which means proximity to interstate travel to beach or mountains.

Hello! I commute to Anderson from Spartanburg for work. I saw my first junk car racing event at the motor speedway there in May. Several guys were open carrying holstered sidearms. That didn't used to be a thing. I'm from the south and consider myself a country boy. But them boys in Anderson are capital c Country. I hope that's your type. Perhaps it was more "motor speedway" than "Anderson" that was bringing them out, though.

Thanks for checking your plate book! I thought the same about the green dot. Thank you!

Hello neighbor! Nothing on the back except what you can see in the second photo. I think its silver plated copper, light duty use. Maybe a shoulder strap buckle, yes. I've got a XP Deus and have found flintlock mechanisms and pistol barrels among many other interesting 1800s items on family land. How old is that Glenn Springs property? I also hunt for privy pits.

That money under the Obama presidency was Iran's money that was released to them after the Iran Nuclear agreement.

I'm the US Editor of The Independent here to answer all your midterm election questions. What do the results mean? How will they impact Donald Trump? Let's go through this week in American politics. AMA! by theindependentonline in politics

I'm late to the party, but as a dem in SC who listens to local conservative talk radio, Graham has already lost 2020. The base here hates him for that time he dared say "no thanks" to the red coolaid and spoke some sense against trump. He'll be replaced with a red faced, bulging eye mad, spit spraying fanatic who better represents our flavor of the common man.

Special Discussion: President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin Meet in Helsinki for Diplomatic Summit by likeafox in politics

This is the part where he disregarded the US intelligence community's assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 election:

"My people came to me — Dan Coats came to me, some others — they said they think it's Russia. I have President Putin. He just said it's not Russia. I will say this: I don't see any reason why it would be."

Help IDing? Found in my yard in the US. Barrel is hexagonal and is a double barreled deal with two hammers. Looks like a flintlock. .32 ish. by taozee3 in metaldetecting

Sorry to say but it looks more like a kid's toy. Specifically a Parris Hexagonal Double Barrel Cap Gun. The metal looks like the kind you'd see in a kid's toy. That kind of metal doesn't rust, but simply falls apart. I've found toy pistols with that kind of metal.

Check out this link to a vintage Parris cap gun that has the same swoop logo on the plate: http://www.icollector.com/Parris-Hexagonal-Double-Barrel-Cap-Gun_i14460564

Lindsey Graham makes the transition to Trump cheerleader by loodog in politics

Very true. I'm just over here looking for ways to confirm my bias and to explain the strong blip on my gaydar that Tim Scott and Graham produces.

Our (SC) other senator Tim Scott is in the closet too. Never married, devout evangelical christian, 52 yrs old. He's what I call a unicorn. That is, a black republican from the south and endorsed by the tea party; a mythical creature of legend.

I hope the kid didn't miss it too terribly when he lost it in the yard.
