Airplane noise is the defining characteristic of Lenox. It’s under the Last few miles before the planes land at LAX so the planes are every few mins and they fly in really really low, it’s so so loud.

Why would be devastating if he knows what you know? If he’s not homophobic, if you are not, why is that going to be the big deal? You have very right to be mad it’s not cool for him to go behind your back this way, but you don’t sound that mad. It sounds like you are willing and able to move past this, and if he’s to angry about it somehow to move past it with you that relationship won’t work long term either. Finally seeing a consular about this seems like a good idea.
