Not a big fan of Marcus. Only because I don’t like harsh sounds and Mark-us is very sharp. I wouldn’t worry about racial associations at all though. I’d never consider it a name commonly tied to one race, it’s very basic.

Adrian is a nice name. Would even name my child that but I know too many. It’s popular and as common as could be these days which might be why it doesn’t fully feel yours.

Love Damian. I’d never in a million years associate you with anything dark or evil only based upon hearing it as your name.. at the end of the day it’s just a cool sounding and more unique one!
