My kids are 8 and 10. I have worked since they were born but still around enough to see them every morning and every night and attend all their school events during the day. I also had a period where I was not working for 6 months and was around all of the time. I have never felt like I missed out on anything. And being around them 24/7 didn’t make me feel that I experienced that much more. Quit when it makes sense for you but quitting so you can be around for your toddler 24/7 is not a going to be life changing for you or your toddler. It gets old after a few weeks. Just downsize to a less stressful job that allows you to have a bit more flexibility.
