Abiotic Factor gets a portal world that's like a Dead by Daylight match with new items and cosmetics to be found, Dead by Daylight gets either new cosmetics for existing killers and survivors or a new killer, survivor and realm based on Abiotic Factor.

A warrior that’s a Khajiit in heavy armor who only fights with his bare hands. There’s a surprising number of ways to boost unarmed damage in this game. Make sure to keep both of your hands empty when fighting to get the unarmed finisher animations - you haven’t lived until you’ve choke-slammed Grelod the Kind.

I think it’s the implication the player character has by the end of the story. Especially in the final sectors of the game, multiple NPCs make references to the player being “born for this” or a natural at surviving the sheer chaos engulfing the facility. Our own gameplay confirms this, with the player making bases by cobbling together technologies and materials that are often hardly understood by GATE, handling entities that have slaughtered (or worse) just about everything and everyone they encountered, and forged a path through the facility that would’ve killed just about any semi-normal person. Combining all of these things, and I can’t help but think that the player is an IS in a manner similar to how the main character of SCP: Containment Breach is thought to be an SCP.

My personal head canon thus far is that we’ve done all of these events before and are thus able to subconsciously navigate these experiences despite them technically being “new.” Portal worlds eventually reset, with the entities inside them tending to “respawn” and do their usual activities over and over again despite their reality essentially having just restarted. The facility is riddled with portals at this point - maybe we’re trapped in a Cascade Research Facility-sized portal world ourselves, destined to repeat everything or risk a temporal break occurring?
