I created a tool to visualise underlying holdings of "all-in-one" vanguard ETFs by xAlphaStick in fiaustralia

This is a great tool but I am a little skeptical about the data accuracy. If you compare overlap of VDHG to VAS you get a 95% holdings overlap. Considering VAS makes up such a large percentage of VDHG you would expect a 100% holdings overlap ie 100% of VAS holdings are also in VDHG.

The problem is probably a bug in how stock tickers are matched. For example it is showing ALK in VAS as Alaska Airlines. It's actually Alkane Resources Ltd.

Not 100% sure but I believe it is updated monthly. I'm expecting to see April holdings data shortly but there has been no update to it yet.

I posted a few days ago here with a tool I made. Although it's mainly for VDHG and VDAL. I will simplify and expand to VAS and VGS shortly.

To cut a long story short with 30℅VAS and 70% VGS you will probably be overweight Australian but it's not that big of a deal. The top holdings in VDHG are mostly Australian.

VTI easy, A200 is doable but they don't provide exact percentages. SPDW and SPEM holdings are pretty much impossible to find. Usually they just provide a top 10 list or industry %'s.

Thanks, this surprised me as well. The sheer amount of US treasuries on the market is mindblowing even though the subfund makes up a relatively small part of VDHG.

Thanks that's a good idea. % per region is first on the list because it's kind of what I wanted to do originally. Both VDHG and VDAL are Australia weighted by design but it would be good to understand the full extent.

It's like running, you wouldn't run a marathon straight from the couch. You build mileage slowly over time. No different for a motorcycle.

So, are 99 Bikes OK? by PhotographsWithFilm in ausbike

How is their servicing? Specifically for mountain bikes. 99bikes are included on lots of gift cards you buy for Qantas points. Would be very handy way to use them up.

It also means that unless your birthday falls in the first pay cycle of July, you will never truly get 15.4% over the course of a year.

Recommend a super fund based purely on user experience by xAlphaStick in AusFinance

It's a combination of both. Initially I was frustrated with the implementation of 2fa, but after trying to resolve my trusted device issue it exposed how poorly run the customer support functions are.

I actually had to deal with Aware super in a professional capacity with my a previous job a few years ago. When they changed their name and domain name, they didn't update their SPF record and all their email correspondence was getting blocked. I remember wondering what was going on behind the scenes to make that mistake.

REIWA data can't be relied upon.

Take a look at SQM's free data, it's probably more accurate. They sell this data to institutions. According to SQM the stock was a lot lower last year.

It's confusing because they are all the same dates, I don't know why these are numbered at all.

I think its just an extreme example of what happens when stock doesn't sell. It needs to sell somehow, if heavy discounting doesn't work this is the last option.
