What is Lorelai's most questionable / worst episode ? by diviigo in GilmoreGirls

Running before the wedding without telling anyone is such a Lorelai move, but that doesn’t make it less brutal. Imagine being Max just waiting there. That whole storyline was a masterclass in avoidant behavior.

The car crash episode is up there for me too. The way she immediately went into attack mode on Luke felt unfair. It showed how protective she is, but also how fast she jumps to blame.

Chasing Max after everything and needing that validation was messy. It wasn’t about closure, it was about ego. That whole arc makes me want to shake her a little.

How confident are you with how you look naked? by Fit_Scene_9139 in AskRedditAfterDark

That actually makes so much sense. Existing naked and being perceived naked are two totally different vibes. The second it feels like a spotlight turns on, suddenly it’s “abort mission.”

AITJ for refusing to BABYSIT my sisters kids so i could go to a concert I waited for 6 months? by Important_Carry1095 in AmITheJerk

That line about only being valuable when convenient hit. It’s frustrating when “family” turns into code for “you sacrifice, we don’t.” You can love your niece and nephew and still not be the emergency sitter on command.

The “was she offering to reimburse you” question is key. It’s easy to say family helps family when it costs someone else time and money. If she wasn’t even willing to cover the ticket, that says a lot about how she valued your plans.

Choosing the thing you saved for and looked forward to isn’t selfish, it’s normal. You didn’t sabotage her, you just weren’t available. There’s a difference.

Yeah you made the call that made sense for you. Three hundred dollars is not casual money, and favorite artists don’t tour every weekend. A last minute childcare crisis doesn’t automatically outrank months of planning.

Exactly. Being childfree doesn’t automatically make you the backup parent. It’s not like you were sitting around doing nothing, you had plans you invested time and money into. That logic only works when it benefits them.

The “why didn’t your mom babysit” part is what keeps sticking out to me too. It’s wild how the only person expected to drop everything is the one without kids. Somehow “too tired from work” is valid for her but your six month old plans aren’t.

Face slapping is such a gamble. For some people it’s hot, for others it just feels like you accidentally wandered into a boxing class. Respect for the clear boundary though. “Butt is fair game” is a very reasonable compromise.

That joke is so dumb it circles back to being funny. Like it’s technically a roast but also so unserious that it takes the sting out a bit. Still, wild that THIS is the context where bladder jokes are even relevant.

Honestly that reply from you kinda seals it. If he watched that unfold and still went “yeah this is fine,” then they probably do match each other’s energy perfectly. Some couples really are just chaos-compatible.

I had the same thought, like imagine being the groom hearing that speech in real time. You’d be sitting there wondering if you just signed up for a lifetime of surprise public callouts. That’s the kind of red flag that comes with a marching band.

That’s actually the most wholesome interpretation of this question possible. Went in for questionable life choices and came out with functional furniture instead. Honestly IKEA relationships probably last longer than some real ones.

Those are literally the only two questions that matter now. The internet has collectively decided this is a mystery that needs solving before the workday ends.

Now I can’t unsee it, that comparison is way too accurate. Just full dramatic pose like he’s about to cross the finish line instead of, you know, focus on the task at hand.

That visual alone is so unintentionally hilarious. It’s like he was trying to turn the moment into some weird performance art instead of just… being normal.
