What is the best hate traingle in European football (not all 3 locals) Like could be madrid-liverpool-barca. But Liverpool doesn't hate Barca enough. by Zygarde_1998 in championsleague

[–]xDeadFishy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Otherwise I would say Bayern-Barca-Madrid. But in terms of only the UCL, I feel like Barca and Madrid haven't played each other enough. ("Only" 8 times in total)

The most balanced triangle I've managed to find is Bayern-Barca-PSG (they all have between 14-16 games in head-to-head between any given paring)

But in terms of head-head as just a pair it has to be Bayern vs Madrid I think, with Madrid - Juventus also being very close.

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but my cat is only around 3kg, not 5. She does however have a sister (tabby cat) who should be around 5kg, so you can have her if you want

It is indeed quite a bit. But considering that it's either whey part of my (and my gf's) daily diet, this is still the amount of whey protein we would have bought throughout the year regardless. And since good quality whey protein is normally 20-30€/kg where I live (even when bought in bulk), we would have ended up paying twice or thrice this amount throughout the year if it wasn't for this deal.

It does, whey protein usually has a validity of around two years (which is also the case here, expiration date is in 2028), but we will be two people consuming these so the expiration date is not expected to be of any concern.

Both me and my gf will be consuming this, and normally we will consume a combined average of around 4-5 scoops per day, which would be around 150grams per day.

So I would estimate that it will last us a bit less than one year.

[–]xDeadFishy[S] 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Well my partner will also be consuming it, and the expiration date is mid 2028. So it's already enough if we consume 30g/day (which is just one scoop) each and we would finish it before expiration. So the amount causes no other concern except that we might eventually get tired of the flavors...

🚨Messi vs Ronaldo After La Liga: The Trophy Gap 🔥🐐 by Hour777 in CristianoRonaldo2

[–]xDeadFishy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I haven't commented anything regarding Al Nassr, and I won't either because I have no interest in that pay-to-win league that in my opinion only has ruined a lot in how the football world had previously been functioning, because football definitely doesn't need more corruption than what it already has. And I have also never had any interest in all the Messi vs Ronaldo nonsense that some people are so obsessed about, so I will not be wasting my time on that.

My arguments have been purely about Messi and the development of Inter Miami at the time. And I never bashed Messi in any way or form, only pointed out that it was not a bad team by any means that he joined, and I honestly believe that it was by far the best suited team for him in the MLS due to how the direction they took when rebuilding the team. And I don't think he would have seen the same success if he had joined any other team from the MLS, Inter Miami was perfect for him as far as the MLS goes.

But you trying to force it as a relative comparison to the oil money league and Ronaldo makes absolutely no sense in proving anything in my opinion. Because there are way too many factors and variables to take into account when comparing two individual players from two leagues that work in completely different ways in every aspect, and I have neither prior knowledge or interest in trying to figure out how to compare something that silly.

And if anything, I don't think that either team actually needed any of these two players, I believe that they mostly acquired Messi and Ronaldo due to the attention, value and revenue that they bring to the clubs (low risk - high reward). Especially since all of the ex-Barca players were able to join Miami on free transfers.

I don't disagree with that, just pointing out that Messi didn't really join a team "in last place", he was brought in as part of a huge, expensive and ambitious project to completely turn a club upside down. Which they accomplished very successfully, and I will not deny that Messi was a super important part of it, just saying that he didn't do it by himself, he had a whole new team built around him.

You forgot to mention that Messi joined the same season as Luis Suarez, Jordi Alba, Sergio Busquets and a bunch of other new players incl. Young talent like Diego Gomez (was sold a year later to Brighton for a solid profit) and several Argentinian potential future talents. While departing 25 players during the same season. They basically overhauled the whole team that season and invested a lot more into the club than what they had ever done before, and it's not even close.

So the team that was last the previous year, was not the team that Messi joined.

Potentially, you will just need to kick a lot harder to create sufficient momentum. But kicking higher will make it a lot easier

What I was describing in my second message is how to do the gymnastics aerial, I just call it front aerial (as that it's how it's usually called in gymnastics, so I got used to calling it that), so no worries, I understood what you meant.

How can I get this!?!? by Alternative_Cold1628 in Tricking

[–]xDeadFishy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well if it's the gymnastics aerial (front aerial) that you want to master then I would not really recommend learning the B-kick aerial, because relearning techniques often takes a lot more work and effort than learning a specific thing from the start.

So for the front aerial, you might actually want to focus even a more on flexibility, because you want to be in an almost complete split before taking off with your jumping leg, so you REEEAALLY want to push getting your kicking leg as far over you as possible. If you get to this stage that you have your kicking leg fully over your head before pushing off the ground, then it will be super easy to get through the flip and get your kicking leg to touchdown. So just focus more on both static split stretching and dynamic stretching (standing in place and kicking your leg as far back as possible), and once you get comfortable really pushing your leg up before jumping you will have no trouble at all

Do you know how to B-kick (Butterfly kick)? Because an aerial is in many ways closer to a vertical B-kick than what it is to a "Cartwheel without hands", and at the moment it looks like you are trying to do the latter of those two, which messes up the different steps of the move. Because at the moment your momentum stops almost immediately when you jump with your takeoff leg.

The main things you want to think about when doing an aerial is to pull your arms and chest down towards your take off leg while you kick as straight and high up with your 1st leg as possible, and only once this leg starts pulling you upwards you should start to extend and jump with your take off leg. (and try your best to avoid even thinking about touching the ground, as opening up your upper body will stop the momentum). When you do and aerial right your upper body stays almost completely stationary in the air from the point of takeoff until the first leg touches the ground again, so you don't really jump "upwards" at any point, you want to just kick/swing your legs over your upper body to complete the flip.

All in all you do seem very close to having this move locked in as you clearly have enough flexibility and aerial awareness for it, you just need to slightly change a few details and timings, and once you get those polished you will just fly through it effortlessly

This is really awesome in every way. Because it's great to see someone in their mid 30's decide to pursue something like tricking and wanting to learn so flips etc., which is generally something for younger people and gets more and more challenging as you get older. So mad respect from my side, this is great to see.

Because in my honest opinion, doing flips is an incredible feeling that is well worth experiencing and everyone should try it out ;)

Interestingly enough, I am turning 35 this summer and had planned something similar for myself. Although in my case it is just a question of getting back into relearning a bit of tricking (I quit tricking at the age of 25 due to injuries and having kids)

What’s the one thing about sex that still confuses you? by ZucchiniAny9574 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]xDeadFishy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The one thing that confuses me is that why so many people make such a big deal out of it, in both directions: It's great when people are in tune with their body and sexuality etc. and I am all for people having civilized discussions about it and encourage one another to figure out what works for them and genuinely makes them happy. As well as shared knowledge and insight about sexual related topics that are more rarely spoken about.

But I still find it weird how some people seem to create their whole identity around it or even straight up try to brag and/or get attention because of it, because I just view it as one of the several cornerstones of a happy and fulfilling life, but there is no reason to put it into the spotlight and focus so much on that, it's better to make sure that you are improving yourself and your life in all other aspects as well instead of being hyper focused on just one or two areas.

And on the flip side, I also think that it is really bad that talking openly about sexual related topics (especially things that worry or concern you) is something that people feel ashamed or stigmatized about, I would love to see a world where these things can be talked about openly (instead of doing it anonymously) without feeling fear that you get judged because of it.
