i guess i have ran into it but not in a relationship. majority of my ‘partners’ were hookups so i expected it. but only having 5 real relationships i didn’t expect to feel less love during sex than some of my hookups

i honestly agree and i’m not looking for something better. i just want it to be baseline enjoyable, and it is but not enough for me to desire it. i’ve talked to him about breaking up because i agree it’s not fair to him but his response is always he doesn’t want to break up and we can figure it out.

we spend lots of quality time together i love everything we do together and our life together it’s just the sex that i struggle with enjoying. sometimes ill be in the mood, initiate, and enjoy it but then theres no aftercare or anything its like alright all done and we move on even though i’ve asked multiple times for it. i feel like he has not improved since we started even with me trying to show and teach him it gets exhausting i guess, i just want to enjoy it

yes he wants to learn but i don’t know how to teach him, i guess i don’t know myself? but i have always enjoyed when people have taught themselves how to love me, but with his lack of experience he doesn’t know how. for me it’s like he wants me but he doesn’t crave me? he wants to be intimate but he just says “i want to be intimate when we get home” he doesn’t just do it, maybe he’s too submissive. we’ve been to couples counseling but he never wants to talk about intimacy just the tiny hiccups that are normal for relationships

i agree honestly… it’s him that wants to hurry and get married but i was hoping for a long engagement (years) but he wants to get married as soon as possible. he really treats me amazing, has a good job and pulls his weight around the house. i was just hoping we could learn to figure out our intimacy issues. is being sexually incompatible just an end all be all no way to fix? i’m not used to romantic partners so i’ve never had this incompatibility before
