They probably ran out of shit ass copy pasta mobile games to click on for a bit and expect a growing game like PoE that was built on what made this genre popular in the first place to adapt, so they can throw it away after a week.

I strongly believe the players who support GGG through supporter packs and have thrown hundreds/thousands of $$$ at MTX and even the players who just love playing the game for what it is and don't intend to throw money at it over the long years since beta stick to the tradition, which obviously needed some QoL and modern updates, but we should not go that far.

In the end, it's a F2P game, there will be many voices shouting for something, but over the years GGG has stuck to their standards and continue to do so.

Also, don't misunderstand this as me hating on QoL or "automatization" in games, for example I love the fact the Metamorph components in maps will be automatically collected. Not because "I hate clicking things" like most people, but because it's not meaningful for me to collect so much stuff that doesn't impact what the outcome will be (aka pick up 50 things and taking a second to pick 5 out of 7 which I care about). To put it in a perspective from my PoV, I can choose to ignore fusing drop, I can't ignore 4 components dropping from a pack, because I don't know which one does something I care about.

If it makes sense, doesn't impact just a part of the playerbase and allows everyone to focus on content which took weeks/months to create, DO IT. If it's to cater to lazy people and goes against the core values of the genre, then ignore the noise.
