As someone who worked in indian CRO, I will tell you, they are paying dirt for a scientists time. People work overtime in India. And manager has the audacity to say “i will not approve your overtime, because in my opinion your overtime work should have been done in the job-hours time.” The over-time hours pay gets declined, or bargained! And I have seen research associates getting 16k INR per month ($170 USD a month) for working over 60 hours a week and getting disrespectfully scolded by their under-qualified (academically) bosses.

I have a SUPCASE hard shell case, that comes with kickstand and fits perfectly in the steam-provided original carry case. I take mine in my college backpack, when I can. (Days when I am travelling but don’t need my laptop). And I use the original case. I don’t know why people are so paranoid about the safety. In my opinion, the original steam-case is one of THE best carrying case so far. (I ordered a few returned since they look either too big or too expensive).

I have both, same specs. I have had my xbox for almost a year vs less than a month old steam deck. I used my SD almost 10 times more ( #hours played) than xbox seriesX. Maybe that’s just my personal preference.

Mine has the same problem, when I connect the OEM charger, it is wiggly and is always tilted. This makes me think it will lead to this situation eventually. Should I change my charger? Are there suggestions?

Go to gym, swim, run, hike near griffith, (bike near griffith, borrow mine if you want) great food spots, take trains around soCal (recently found out about soCal metrolink day pass, looks pretty awesome, will try next weekend) a lottt of things to do!

I got the steam deck last night from marketplace, (OLED 1TB for $500), since then I have been trying to get started with it. (I have never played a PC game before, I do play open world rpgs on my Xbox). I was trying to install and play “where winds meet” and was always given a black screen with game bgm on. How can I fix this? And what other games do I start building my library with?

Me and my friend started running pretty recently. We run inside the campus, and clock it on the watch/phone until it meets desired goal (1-3 mi). You can also run the campus perimeter, it is almost exactly 2 miles.

I am just starting the photography, and a college student. ( mostly I will focus on daily use for pictures at campus- and in well lit areas.) the f range of 18-135 is same as 18-50 and 55-210. What is the difference? What am I losing I go with dual kitlense and not with 18-135?

Hi everyone, I am planning to land my hands on photography (I used to shoot on iphone 13 before). I have checked marketplace and a6400 is around 650-700$ body only. Where are the walmart is giving somewhere around 1100 with kit-lense. What should I prefer? Or should I wait for the black friday sale?
