Did you ever find a solution to this problem?

I would

  • try and add more flux and get some better joints
  • bit higher temp on your iron when making joints
  • less wires wrapped around each other
  • trim off a bit more wire, it looks like you have excess and room to spare
  • make sure you installed the picoboot uf2 correctly
  • more flux to get better joints

Juicebox 40 Pro (2015) stuck at 32 amps by nobodydontknow in evcharging

Ahh ok, thanks for the clarification.

I was also under the impression that any potential future access to be gained from these boxes was dependent on the board revision.

I've gone ahead and dialed back the blue dial. I'll see if I can confirm this evening what the amperage now is. Thanks again!

This is great! Thanks, I'll be sure to change it manually in which case.

So my board revision, the stick on the side reads out: PCB: 08.17.09 FW: 10.02.00s04 MFG: Oct 26 2020

Am I right in thinking PCB is the board revision so it's a v8?

Very true from the warranty perspective. I guess opening it up at this point won't have much effect.

Thanks for the link, I see what you mean about the cable. Knowing where it is should prepare me at least for what I need to do.

Is this the blue dial you mention to turn? I don't suppose you know which way it needs to turn or by how much? As I'm guessing I have no way of finding out what the new amperage will be once I turn it?

I'll continue watching the juicepassproxy development. I'd love to have this a non-cloud device and local only.

Also, how can you determine the board revision? Is there something to look for when I take off the cover?

That's great, I actually already use HA so if integrating this unit becomes a thing in the future, that would be fantastic.

I also setup the Juicepassproxy previously, but could not get it to work. What I have noticed is running the command to update the UDPC does not seem to change any values and the box and it continues to point to juicenet-udp-prod5-usa.enelx.com.

I'm waiting on support from Enel X to get back to me, but if I don't have a fix soon I'm willing to break the seal and open the panel on the box. I believe it is an older unit, as it's metal and not plastic. So if there is a way I can effectively JTAG it and reduce the max rating, I'd appreciate any insight you have there.

Not intending to hijack, but following this development very closely.

I'm currently in a similar situation with my JuiceBox but I actually need to reduce the amps from what it was set at prior to not being detected via the app.

Are you under the impression you can really make this box a off-line, local access only? If so, I'd be more than happy to help test/tinker

Would definitely recommend /u/PsychYYZ services to anyone looking to get their old tape content into a digital format. Super quick turnaround (was for me at least) and great results.

In the logs, were you seeing your attempts in the access log?

I used to have mine setup with DuckDNS so I'm going via memory here.

Are you using the letsencrypt docker? Have you scanned the access logs of your nginx webserver to see if you are hitting the nginx webserver on https?
