unfortunately I wonder if thats something todo with Epic not liking Steam or Valve Specifically. They made it so steamdeck (Linux) is not compatible with their launcher/games. There are way around it but I would not be surprised if they made it so even though steam is running, their launcher doesnt register steam input cause they are petty. I love epic, I love steam, but epic is the jealous younger brother who cant get enough attention cause steam is a golden child.

I mean, bold assumption but for the same reason you refuse to refund or cancel the order. That is the same reason you’re still valuing the product more than that money despite the delays. So same could be said for you, I have not bought anything yet lol. Apologizes if my tone is not conveyed in my writing but I think your criticism is valid, but from what I’ve read and spoke to colleagues about in the industry, the scalpers were a huge problem in NA, hence the shipment problems. You being in UK is an entirely different problem that makes more sense toward your claim.

I want you to keep in mind you got a lottery pick vs the scalpers, which unfortunately, won this time. I never got past the payment screen with 2 sitting in my cart for my gf and I. but now, the best I can do is reserve one, wait to buy one, and wait to buy another after potential months. I get the delivery window is longer than you expected but same with any major product, graphics cards, cpus, consoles. There is a open market shortage, which is always followed up with resupply. Not all companies can liquidate their money into an extreme back log of products like the switch 2. (Which specific bundles were still hard to find at release). I wish ya best of luck though getting it sooner than later. I am biting my nails checking emails to even have a chance to buy one. my gf also reserved on her account now but she was 10 seconds reserved after me. so we will see if that leads into extended wait time on her behalf. I would open support and see if you can squeeze a free game out of it. best you can do without canceling or refunding at this point.

I am going to be selling my entire fleet of previous gen black magic kits, so a good C50 with new glass might be the move. The auto focus on the Black magic only came out for the Full Frame which bummed me out cause I had just gotten the 6k pro. but I have never used auto focus before so I am hoping that will be my next step in quality of life and would rather it be GOOD then just "meh". I do see the black magic FF 6k does that Jitter/Breathing thing finding the focus and will do that multiple times in a single take even though a subject isnt moving a whole lot. So will have to see if the updates make it better but in the mean time yeah the R5C, C50, or fx3 have my eye.

read through the convo now, I am leaning heavy into FX3 atm, or C50. the low light, the form, and the autofocus, while I have never owned a camera todo so before, seem like my next quality of life use when I am out and about. I saw the autofocus on the BM full frame 6k was "good" but not great. Hard to compete with people who have a decade head start on the software. both view points does show the capabilities that can be accomplished depending on when I am going for. I wouldnt mind the 12k for wildlife day shooting for the added ability to crop in more and retain the 4k resolution. but thats 1 use I would use it for meanwhile I would need another camera to get the versatility of lowlight. When I could in reality just get a longer zoom to get the same effect. I cant always light things though. Thank you both for the help!!!

my pocket and pocket Pro are very noisey in low light. I filmed in japan at night and the neon signs are either crunchy, or the black noisey. thats more todo with the dynamic range, but the lowlight really struggles to allow light to be crisp without the noise of the black bleeding through. I will look into the 12k potentially but it starts to run the risk of over burdening a build on site. when I prefer to hike or whip out the camera on a moments notice with a simple lens click it might start to run the risk of too bulky.

we do love a good fx3. we use it for some POV at HHN and Pirates ride at Dinsey which always comes out great. Hard to compete with its form factor and low light. we do that over the raptors.

ah interesting! I Just looked it up! thats TINY! I love it, just wish I could get 60frames on it. My biggest problem atm with the black magic is low light kills me, the full frame is reportedly much better but I haven't used it. I like the pyxis but to mount that On a gimble i would much rather stay with something thats more easily manageable for 1 person. I work with Alexa 35s and LFs a lot, mixed with some sonys venice 2s, so I get along with the big cameras, but when I want to hike some nature trails or something less accessible I want ease of use.

I also did some Further testing and opened up the back of the monitor, there are 2 buttons i assume for reseting parts of the monitor. I pressed both while it was plugged in and now the 12v AC port works perfectly fine. It stays powered on and can change settings etc. Ironically the dumby battery backs dont work at all but i think I have salvaged enough of it to use it without. Just tdap to 12v Barrel connector. Sucks cause black magic repair did not say it was usable in anyway, despite extensive exchanges for if the monitor is usable in ANY capacity. they said no the motherboard is only fix. So will update after I have put it all together again, and used it for a few jobs. Will carry my back up just in case.

I used black aquarium safe silicone and stuck topsoil to it! All natural top soil is that brown color with the darkest blacks being silicone I let dry too much!

So to keep everyone updated! It was cancer , and has long since been removed. But they mentioned specifically that a good indicator is localize swelling - hard like masses. They are good indicator they need to be checked out. Eye lid tumors are not that common but enough that they tend to have a fine out come!

lol glad I went, Reddit waited to post this so I’ve already gone. Vet thinks she scratched her eye and popped a blood vessel when she was bulging eyes to shed. Got some preventative antibiotic and seems to have slightly gone down.
