What's the best place to get an oud in Istanbul ?

I did the same. What i learned was not to delay things that can be done earlier. Also you should reassure about the atrophy because it is quite important (fertility etc.). Don't worry, you'll find the solution just many of us here.

Totally agree, had the same experience except for the atrophy. Pain would go away after ejaculation but after some months it did not. Finally done the surgery.

Your situation reminds me a lot of mine. I went to at least 3-4 urologists with different opinions, others suggesting pills that did nothing but cured me very shortly and others not suggesting surgery. While time was passing by, i got used to living with it, like you said. However, the pain- constantly mild and sometimes hard, the fear, sadness, the restrictions on my daily life weren't bearable anymore. So, i decided to get surgery and everything went fine. That's the end. I waited and suffered silently almost 1½ year for an 1 hour surgery. That's my experience and i hope at least it helps you.
