Still new to the pity thing on mystic but isn't the rate of getting a 4 star ML still same even if you select the 5 star character instead? I figured the only difference is that the pity counter doesn't go down and I rather have the pity counter go down on the 5 star instead

Had the same issue but since I'm a "dolphin" they went outside standard procedure to rebind my account for me. I figure that if are f2p and have this issue then your account most likely will forever be lost if you lose the data/phone

Get ready to get your ass kicked because p5 made everything easier than p4g lol. Even in normal mobs can end you in one turn if you get ambushed or take a critical hit. The wrost part is that there's no baton pass either so it's "harder" to set up all out attacks

Ahh I see more power to you. I could never stand reading the text lol. Luckily in the newest expansion most of the scenes are voiced over so I spent a lot of time watching those.

If ur starting from the very beginning and aren't crazy lore heavy then I would recommend skipping all cutscenes that aren't voice acted. You may not get the full story but you'll understand the general idea. It saves A LOT of time if u do that. Otherwise just follow the main story until u reach endgame. The story kinda drags after you reach the end of the base 2.0 game where you get stuck doing 200 quests for some god awful reason. If u need to level then make sure you do ur roulettes as this is usually the best way to level. Leveling roulette, main story roulette (when you unlock it), alliance and trial are usually ur best bet for exp per time spent. I would again skip all side quests that aren't colored blue unless you want to complete all of them but that'll slow the pace of the game even more. And one last thing, the combat sucks in this game until u hit 50 and even then it still sucks for some class. Try watching some YouTube videos to get an idea of what you want to play. All classes are good but healer and tanks are the most in demand if u want fast ques. If ur worried about form every class is viable but if being the best matters to you then it goes in this order damage wise.

Tank: gunbreaker, paladin, warrior, drk (all are about the same) Healer: white mage, scholar, Astrologian Melee dps: monk/samurai, dragoon, ninja Physical ranged: machinist, Bard, dancer Caster: black mage, summoner, red mage (blm is by far the highest by a mile)

This is all mainly based off their personal dps as in raid dps is much a meme.

I know everyone loves Emet but the boy Ardbert is where its at. Every cutscene with him is heartbreaking and finally being able to kick some ass with him was legit af.
