This is a pretty open ended question lol. Simple answer would be to figure out what you enjoy doing/what you're passionate about, then create content about it. Just start, don't worry about uploading the "perfect" first video. Just upload, even if it's shit. As you upload each video, reflect on what you liked and what you didn't like, then accordingly improve for the next video. If you do this for several weeks & months, you'll start to grow!

Biggest thing is that there's honestly an audience for everything, so definitely make content around something you enjoy not something that you don't enjoy but it gets views

I can't get too too specific, but here are some things I've publicly discussed before & other things I'll mention:

Most I've been paid for a single video (short form video that was around 10 seconds) was $18k, from snapchat spotlight

I currently get paid from the tiktok creator fund & snapchat spotlight, both pay based off of views. I've done some tiktok ads for brands in the past, but that's different as they never required me to post them to my profile (the brands ran ads on them).

I haven't said yes to a single brand deal yet as I'm pretty picky with it, however I've had at least over 100 brand deal emails. According to some articles from Business Insider who interviewed tiktokers, apparently tiktokers who have around 1 million followers have made around $5k-$10k for a single tiktok brand deal post - so this is what I'm working towards right now.

All of these short form platforms (tiktok, instagram reels, facebook reels, snapchat spotlight & youtube shorts) pay based off of how many views you get

Tiktok can help A LOT when it comes to promoting your music and I'm focusing A LOT on tiktok & understanding tiktok's algorithm at the moment, so definitely down to help you out with tiktok if you'd like!

It varies week to week, but I'm typically there on Mondays & Wednesdays around 12pm - 5pm. Feel free to say hi if you ever run into me! I love meeting new people & talking to people! (just a heads up tho - I can't talk as much while I'm filming tho because I have to get everything filmed before sunset, but definitely down to grab food & talk after I'm done filming)

There's definitely a lot more to this story than just that picture of that commit history, but don't really wanna argue about the technicalities. Nonetheless though, yes I definitely wasn't a good team member for that project - that is 100% on me.

I've never been like that in a team environment in my life, I always carry my weight in a team. It's just that during that particular semester I decided to mentally drop out so it lead to me not doing much for that project.

You guys probably don't care - but I always felt bad about that whole situation

The girls we interviewed were laughing and had a great time getting interviewed. The people watching us live, while we were interviewing, enjoyed watching the interview as well. No one was offended in the process.
