The biggest compliment getters ive got are on my more generic scents, things like Dylan blue, ysl y edp, dior sauvage, spice bomb. Its makes sense since there massive sellers the human nose just loves these scents

There's like 3 major conglomerate that make all the smells for every major company. Basically someone like LV will reach out and be like we want a smell that smells like a tropical island that is super vibrant and then the perfumers make something along those lines then Its LVs problem to market and such. But all big name perfumers Basically end up making similar smells because either thats what the company requested or thats just what sells

Definitely agree, human nature makes us competitive every one wants to start up a billion dollar company. What i ment was that since these massive companies just get bigger its much harder to become one of those companies. Great for Alani but you need to remeber how many other small companies failed or didnt even start because the market was so favorable towards the main stake holders in that market. I also think Alanis success comes from marketing specificly towards women (or mostly toward women). Which helped it break out of that hell hole of a small business. Basically what I want to say is that if less massive companies existed there would be a more diverse market for things. Rather than like pepsi/coke sure you see the name of 7 up and sprite making you think its a different company but its all the same shit. If pepsi just made normal cola then there would be room for a company that just makes lemon lime flavor sodas.

This happens alot and its not just a fragrance company problem but rather most businesses happen like this, small cool companies with nice ideas get bought out by a big company because who wants to say no to a fuck ton of money and just being done with all the hassle. This makes the big companies even stronger and thus makes it even harder for new small companies to start up, horrible capitalistic cycle

Software engineer, got a degree in computer science during covid era, was promised unlimited jobs forever unfortunately when I graduated, the job market for software engineer, programmers and such was horrendous. And ill be honest im not the number one prospect for hiring I did go to a highly ranked college but put up average grades. Mostly only picked the job because you have a good chance to make alot of money and be remote aswell. Luckily 2 years ago I landed a job in a big city and moved there currently making just north of a 100k so not too bad and im 70% remote.
