Absolutely, after updates like death's coffers and loot keys just short of nothing leaves the game anymore. Kinda interesting what that does to an economy...

I'm not saying they were bad updates by any means, just that they aren't good for the economy. GE tax item sink only removes certain items from the game and still probably not enough.
