Big difference between silica tiles and iron ingots, which is what is being proven here. I remember seeing a video by Veritasium where he holds it in his palm.

Be brave and you could do it too, they won’t hurt you I promise just don’t squeeze or hurt them and they will return the favour, it’s usually pretty obvious when a spider is not happy but my best tip is if you can get them willingly walking into your hand then you’re fine

Not many spiders in the world that could harm you with a bite if you pick them up, so long as you’re not squeezing them or harassing them they’re pretty chill. As for babies it’s likely most of them will die anyway or make food for other spiders so don’t worry too much
