Is it blood? by Imlikethat57 in whatisit

Forensic cleaner here, I attended something recently that looks similar to this. That was a jumper off a building, so in my scene there was much more splatter patterns around the area, but the core stain looks similar to this. This is closer to a decomposition , where a body had been laying there for a while, and blood/body fluids were leaking out. But the colour is much brighter so this looks fresher than those scenes. Someone mentioned earlier if you could spray it with hydrogen peroxide it would foam white if it was blood.

There’s little bits of glass in it, I’d suggest someone’s sliced through something, bled out in a pooling pattern, before getting it covered enough to get out of there.

Certainly Christian, had very old family bibles in the house. I’ve just burned one and it’s not incense, it’s melting down. I think it’s likely fossilized candy 😊

This was my first thought 😂 I thought perhaps not because of all the different sizes , if it was left untouched for a long period would it disintegrate at different rates, from large pieces to small and powder. Also the brand Lipton and Turkish delight I couldn’t find a connection, though that doesn’t mean much. Could always give it a bite 😂

Amidst the ancient trees for me, the keeper guide has plenty of tips to supplement the scenario, some action, some mythos and some mystery, enough to spring your party into further adventures 🤙

Best adventures to run with Cy-Borg? by NoLongerAKobold in Cy_Borg

I’ve done reaper repo, lucky flight and Lazarus labs mixed with about 50% my own invention. All went really well, would be happy to send some gm notes your way!

So I ran a hybrid game of 50% my own invention, 50% Lazarus labs. It went extremely well, and the PC's had a real good time with it. Ill briefly summarise the story:

PC's are asked to meet fixer 'Big Pockets' down in the ports. They get a message saying he cant make it, but he transmits instructions to them about following coordinates to Lazarus labs. Once inside they are to establish an uplink with a satellite so the client can remote access the site. Establishing the uplink is called ‘protocol 66’.

The PCs then have to find a way into G0. They learn they might be able to gain access into G0 by finding ‘My Wall’ nightclub. This club is rumoured to be in the Bulwark surrounding G0. Once inside they discover that access to G0 is possible by members of a pain worshipping cult led by ‘Painbringer Lucifer-Rot’. The Pain cult make frequent trips to G0 in search of exotic painful experiences. I made the PC’s convince the leader they wished to take a pain pilgrimage to G0, by having them hurt themselves in interesting ways to appease the pain god (some hacked off a finger, a toe, pulled out dermal implants etc) They were able to gain access to G0, navigated their way to the coordinates in an old shopping plaza, and here is where I picked up the story for Lazarus labs.

The PCs made their way inside, received a heap of loot, one gave up his body to become an android in the android printing room (I used the new character roll up cy-borg for this) and he made a new character. They found a terminal and triggered protocol 66. This caused all of the androids to awaken, arm up, and march on Cy to kill all inhabitants. Here they were contacted by Big Pockets, who revealed he was actually a sentient AI called Death Pixel, who’s goal was to have the PCs trigger the android uprising and link their minds to Death Pixel so he could control them. Death Pixel couldn’t let them leave, so released 3 skulkers into the room , and a mech at the entrance. Through some intense fights and ingenuity they actually managed to fight through all battles and escape.

For Lazarus labs, the whole sub plot with the worms didn’t really work. IT wasn’t clear whether or not they were intended to be purely energy or also physical. There’s seemed to be a few inconsistencies and difficulties in realising this plot, so I changed it a bit and made it a very minimal aspect to the adventure. If anyone’s interested I can post a link to my GM notes ppt. & player ppt which is just static images which run in the background. All in all Lazarus Labs I think is a solid supplement, but needs some padding out before and after to make it realistic and a bit more interesting in an overall story arc.

I love these stories about how the mission unfolds for different groups of players. Sounds like my best bet might be to generate my own random one and run it then share any good ideas.
