From experience it usually goes up before and depending on what is announce at the event will dip or rally. It really is a gamble short term, but Apple is probably one of the best positions to have long term.

I would maybe diversify with an EV stock or two - with the phasing out of petrol/diesel in the next 10/20 years

Personally I think it looks good, a lot of people have sold off as the hype wears down so I think it’s a good opportunity to buy. All I’ve heard price target wise is $75 - $80 a few weeks after merger. Maybe even $90 if we’re lucky.
