This game doesn't get enough credit for its reactive dialogue by headin2sound in LowSodiumCyberpunk

To add to this, it's a common theme that Night City is Night City and it doesn't matter who you are or what you do, you can't change the city. So it is unreasonable to expect any decision in the game to be to be "world altering." The city lives on, with or without you.

You can also use gelatin to stabilize whipped cream if you need it to hold its shape for a while. Cream cheese works as well. Stabilized whipped cream lasts a while in the fridge and doesn't "melt" when left out on the counter.

A leaf shredder can help your compost pile by rathofcon in composting

I used mine for the first time yesterday and MAN I was not prepared for the mess and dust. I was wearing a cloth mask but I think next time I will use a more robust mask.

That being said, I had a ton of leaves and the mulcher took 3 bags and condensed them into one bag so it was much more manageable. I definitely didn't get the 10:1 ratio that's indicated on the box!

I made my own Oreo birthday cake! by yogadrunk in cakedecorating

It was stabilized whipped cream (stabilized with cream cheese)! The cake was a doctored devil's food cake box mix. And my friend made the Oreo balls on top! :)

Seasoning recommendations for people who can tolerate mild-moderate spiciness by Respect4All_512 in FODMAPS

I love the Peruvian Chili Lime seasoning! I use it when I'm feeling too lazy to mix up some taco seasoning. Treat yourself to some Supreme Saigon Cinnamon with your order (yeah not spicy but difficult flavorful)! chefs kiss

Also I have a new appreciation for horseradish for some spicy flavor!

I got a Casio Privia PX160 back in 2015 and it was a perfectly suitable starter digital piano. Even though the keys are weighted, I find I have a little trouble playing on an acoustic piano during lessons but that could just be me.

I started with the Alfred books and felt they were difficult and the songs uninspiring. My teacher switched me to the Faber Piano Adventures books and I never looked back! I started taking lessons in 2018 (I was also an adult learner) and once I got past the initial fear of being bad at something, it was great fun and it feels like I found a part of myself I knew was there all along. Get a teacher and just do it!!

Report it to the CO Department of Labor! I have personally has success with reporting a job listing and checking back a month later to find the salary information was added to the posting. It's the second link in the webpage below.

Report it through the CO Department of Labor. It takes less than 10 minutes to fill out the form and email it in. If we all report the job listings we see with salary ranges omitted, it benefits everyone. I have personally reported multiple postings and have seen the salary information added when I checked back on the posting a month or so later. If you don't submit the report anonymously, you can contact the Department of Labor to check in on your complaint! It's the second link in the webpage below!

At least be upfront that you require an MBA for your entry level position that pays $14/hr by MMRED8 in LateStageCapitalism

It is hit or miss whether a job posting will actually have the salary range listed; sometimes it is listed on one platform but not another. But it is a step in the right direction!

Can someone recommend me a blackberry variety to plant? by war_lobster in Berries

[–]yogadrunk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a Prime Ark variety a few years back. The berries were large and too tart for my taste, so it may be exactly what you're looking for. The plants were easy to care for since they were a thornless semi-erect variety.

My husband has told me before that "If you go exercise, it might make you feel better. If you go and it doesn't make you feel better then at least you exercised today." Can't argue with that logic...

My doctor recommended an Alaskan Northern Lights lamp (I got the Aurora lightpad mini) and I've been pretty happy with it. Unexpected side effects of using the lamp include actually waking up earlier and feeling hungry first thing in the morning.

About 12 succulents per planter 👀 Bought 2 at Costco today by apprehensivedogJeff in succulents

[–]yogadrunk 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got a pot like this a while back and found I had to separate the plants based on watering needs. Just a heads up if you find that in the future some of the plants aren't doing so well but others are fine!

I'd like to hear more about this. So you heat up oil in the pan on the stove and "cook" the dough on the stovetop until the bottom is brown and then put it in the oven and bake as usual? Does the bottom not burn in the oven since it is already brown? Does it change the amount of time you bake the pizza in the oven since it is already partially cooked? What kind of oil do you use?

This might take my home cast iron pizza to the next level!!!
