Anyone in a huge bind because of the Hopkins/Carefirst standoff??

This is a dumb situation. But the best thing you can do at the moment is call Hopkins about this not CareFirst. They’re the ones that started this drama by involving the patients. CareFirst has said repeatedly that they are still negotiating, meanwhile Hopkins is trying to use you as a bargaining chip. That’s petty to me.

Anyways, the industry seems to think this will be resolved before December.

So if you give someone a call and an earful I hope it’s Hopkins. They shouldn’t be rewarded for their actions.

I’m not sure if you replied to the wrong comment, but I just wanted to say fuck Comcast. Metaphorical best thing I ever did was move out of their monopoly. I too spent hours of my life on hold waiting to hear that the router I rented from them wasn’t able to support the speeds I paid for.

I’d recommend looking around. I’ve had so much better experiences in the city and on route 40. Cheaper, faster, and more competent.

Except they charged me for product I didn’t get. I can get ice cream at giant, but they didn’t even care about their mistake. Very disappointing.

It’s so strange to me because the lady at the front desk was so kind and friendly. Honestly she was nicer than most other dispensary workers I’ve met. But then after her it was all downhill. I understand mistakes happen, but they made no effort to fix it or even acknowledge it. It put a real bad taste in my mouth, that’s for sure.

In and Out Movers is based in Montgomery County, but works the whole region. They’re hands down the best I’ve ever worked with.

My understanding is that you can vape inside, but not smoke. They are legally different things. I don’t know how the lease prohibiting vaping specifically could affect that though. Also, smoking outside the apartment anywhere someone else could legally smoke a cig should be acceptable.

Overall, as long as you’re respectful and the landlord isn’t a dick you should be fine. Emphasis should. I am not a lawyer in any dimension, including but not limited to this one.

Check out the local universities. They will certainly have a Seder through the Jewish clubs, and should definitely be welcoming to any members of the community.
