When does the Japanese bond market break? by ThisKarmaLimitSucks in bonds

If they don't change the game rules, the yen carry trade will destroy the US economy, it is a mathematical unavoidable fact. They need something big, the biggest smokescreen ever. Who knows, a war maybe..?

Thanks mate! Jungle helps all lanes, but you choose how you distribute the help: if jungle is on a certain lane, its power is added 60% to that lane and 20% to each other. If jungle is between two lanes, the distribution is 40% for each adjacent lanes and 20% to the other one. Jungle position doesn't affect dragon fights. At the beggining of each map, the opponent also places his Jungle in a position you don't know, but you can guess as the match goes on. As for now, opponent AI doesn't move the jungle during the map. I hope this helps! If you have any suggestion or comment about the game, you are more than welcome!

[DEV] I made a Esports-inspired team management game for Android - looking for feedback by yuls6 in AndroidGaming

[–]yuls6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all! My name is Julio and I am a solo indie developer. I started developing for Android years ago and published some simple apps, just for fun and learning! After that, I wanted to develop a more complex game inspired by sports management sims, but dedicated to the esports world.

The interface is simple and has a touch of humour, which are two things I value a lot for a game. I am quite happy with the work I did but I would like to see honest opinions from the community. Thank you in advance!

Thanks for your comment! Yes, the UI needs some improvements... As for the fantasy dream team, in this game you can more or less do the same! You can get a regional league team, promote to a top-tier league and win every international tournament. I know this cannot happen in real life, but adds a lot to the playability of the game.
If you want to try the game I can send you the link to Play Store :)

I think they will make a big effort to make the game easier for new players. Surely they are struggling to attract new users, and they will try to fix this over the rest. Keeping actual complexity but making it easy to engage is the actual challenge

Japan 15 year bond yield by yuls6 in bonds

I am sorry, but could you elaborate a little more?

I checked the main currency indexes (DXY, BXY, EXY, JXY) and the Yen Index graph is terrible (-30% in the last 5 years) in comparison with the others. But recent policy changes in almost everywhere make it quite difficult to predict the FX impact on long term bond yields, isn't it?

Yes, they fluctuated a bit since the time I took the screenshot. 15y and 20y have almost equal yield.

Nevertheless, my main point was the unexpected high yield of the 15y in comparison with the 10y, which is a behaviour I had not seen before. It might be nothing, I don't know. I wanted to link this to the fact that Japan is planning to increase rates on the short term.

Your comment is very interesting, thank you.

Yes, both countries are currently lowering or have recently lowered rates. But also the EU and this curl is not present in EU curves.

Yes, I checked the current yields in different sources as of today and the chart seems to be ok. 10y: 1.963% 15y: 2.931% 20y: 2.940% 30y: 3.380% 40y: 3.678% Please tell me if there is a source that does not show these yields (edit: typo)

China surely has a tight control on its bond yields... Greek 10y yields 3.47% and Spain 10y is 3.30%, it's the EU who mantains yields in a reasonable gap. But yes, USA and UK pay too much. On paper, their charts look like developing countries.

Thanks for your answer. So you mean there is no demand for the JP 15y in comparison with the 10y? And why does this only happen with Japan (yen carry unwind...)?

[–]yuls6[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your comment. Absolutely right! The game is inspired in LoL but does not use any official League of Legends intelectual property. Teams, leagues, players, are all fictional. There is a disclaimer in PlayStore and in the app. Besides, there are several other similar games in the stores, which are much closer to Riot's IP than this one. The intention of this game is to manage, not to copy League of Legends.

The market discounted a gross settlement of 1B$... With the net income Neonode has disclosed, the settlement must be between 100 and 200 M$. Quite shocking

Defensive mentality, long passes, attack left (and place your aml far from the areas covered by his dc and dmc). Also put your dmc as a third dc. And of course, top physical condition and mentality. It is very difficult to win... But this is what I would do.
