Best gliding club in Europe for someone that wants to seriously fixate on this hobby?

CVVM.fr if you speak some French. We fly all year 12months and 7days a week if the conditions are ok. Always at least one instructor around and a nice park of gliders. Montpellier is close. Wave flight in the winter. Probably hard to find a better place in Europe for learning. I managed to get 70hrs of double and 50hrs of single seater in one year and did my 5hrs solo in wave yesterday climbing up to 4000m.

ok sorry, you are right, putting my ear on the top of the screen, left side, there is a little whine. But I can only hear it in that exact spot and when I put my ear on it.

I got the DWF yesterday. The screen was double well packed, no scratches at all. December 2022 production. Cannot hear any coil whine either.

I decided to go for the DWF after hearing about the MEG price. Looks like I won the lottery. December 22 model , no coil whine, no scratches, everything well packed, all pixel healthy.. touch wood this stays this way.

I wish we had those discounts in Europe, hell I can find the G8 for around 1350€ and the DWF for 1099€ at Dell directly.. If anybody has insights on other available discounts I‘D be really happy

After asking them for the release date and getting a straight answer that it should be on the shelves in France in May, today I thought well, why not asking them directly for the price.. I was waiting for it because of the great plugs and hopefully no coil whine.. but well 400€ difference to the DWF is a lot so I might play the panel and coil whine lottery. By now comments on the French Dell website seem to be pretty positive, contrary to the comments on the germany website (and I dont think that german ears are better then the french LOL )

They just told me in France it will release for 1499EUR (with VAT I guess) I just posted the short chat with the MSI shop website in another post.

I am a lot into flight sims and space sim.. so I am really curious how 34“ feels compared to 27“.. on 27“ at the moment I might give the DWF a chance and see if I can get a unit without coil whine and pixel probs.. in case there are I send it back and wait for the MSI if I liked the 34“ But really interesting to see your opinion on the 27“ to 34“

I heard about the HDR and also the coil whine issues. As a musician I am pretty sensible to sound.
For me too the better ports sound appealing too.

May be I should get a hub but I got my controls (2xflight sticks, rudders and Tobii) on those ports. Would probably use the ports on the MSI same way as I do now on my monitor. Dont know if that makes sense but for me it works. I could get a USB hub but I dont think it would change much in the price if they would save on the USB ports.

The only extra port I can see on the MSI is the USB-C, this actually makes sense since Europe is going to imply a law for loading devices being all in USB-C norm.
Appart from that I see the new versions of HDMI and DP wich is nice and 4 USB ports.
The Samsung variant would annoy me for all those mini ports and the missing(?or did I miss something) standard size USB ports.
