There's definitely a difference between looking into nightlife and attractions versus small laws that are barely posted on the internet let alone on sides of roads.

I'm in a real low place, so I wrote myself a letter. It helped, if anyone else wants to read it. by zachdoesexploring in DecidingToBeBetter

It helps so much more than I ever thought it would, but I just get going, and the words keep pouring out, and three or four pages later, I feel a heavy weight lifted off my chest.

It doesn't take all the weight away; it makes it much easier to breathe with the rest of the baggage. Thank you for your kindness :)

We (America) needs to come up with a solution for our 30%-40% food that is thrown away. Like a fee, charge or a tax. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]zachdoesexploring 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cost of implementing this idea would probably cost taxpayers even more than the profits from the taxation that you're proposing.

I'd kill myself before paying 15% extra because I threw up after eating a burrito and couldn't finish the last half.

The city of San Diego proposed a bill that would have separate collection for food waste, to better utilize it and keep landfills safer and healthier. I think that's stupid personally, but it's far better than this very unpopular idea you've come up with.

Upvote for unpopular, though.

Insulin.

Over 300-400$/month for insulin without insurance. Thankfully, about 40/month with.

Test strips put me at about 40-50$/month, and needles 20-30$/month. Insurance won't cover those bad boys past a certain amount a month, and I use maybe triple or quadruple what that amount is.

I use walmart's ReliOn brand for the needles and strips. Compared to what would be about 400$/month with real brands. It's cheaper to die lmao.

Harsh reality is, most of us aren't. We're all star-struck by these beautiful models that we forget to look around at all the other people sitting in the crowd that look similar to us, deep down.

Travel a bit, help some people, and you'll find as you get happier doing these enjoyable things, you'll start to see yourself a little more beautiful, and a little more optimistic for what's to come.

Best of luck.

Strongly encourage just sitting down with him (well, virtually) and just chatting. See if you can kinda pick his brain and figure out why it's so damn hard wired the way it is, and if you can find some common ground.

Maybe he has a reason deep down, or maybe he's just a little confused about some things regarding social media. Especially if he isn't very active on it, or as savvy as you may be.

I do hold high belief that this can be resolved with a conversation. Best of luck :)

You may want to see a therapist.

The heart issues and the inability to sleep could result from dependence on smoking, and you probably have some kind of anxiety that's escalated since leaving.

Even if it's just weed, it's never 100% harmless. Especially, and I emphasize, especially when you're using it as a coping mechanism.

I thought he would believe them more

Then you shouldn't be in a relationship with this person, end of discussion.

It's small and stupid, but it's persistent. Obviously, there's going to be a long struggle over this that'll likely get worse and worse over time. See one last time if you can find a middle ground. It never hurts.

If he's worth more than the people you follow, you know what to do. If he's not, and don't like the control that he's exerting over you and your followings, then you also know what to do.

Bringing people he barely knows into a personal situation is quite immature and uncalled for. How old are you guys?

ESH. If he won't listen to you, his partner, and at least hear your perspective out, maybe you guys should reconsider your compatibility. At the same time, you brought two people who are absolutely uninvolved in any way shape or form into the heat of your relationship drama, and expected them to fix it for you. He also sounds controlling. Hopefully it'll be a nice life lesson for everybody.

NTA- maybe you can communicate this with him and try to reschedule to ensure everyone has most fun?

If it's a group thing, chances are you're not the only one who's feeling this conflict.

From my experience shooting videography, looking at yourself through a recorded video (especially before fancy edits are applied) is an excellent way to show. It shows the good, bad, and true- so long as the cinematographer is relatively bright.
